Ease towards Easter with the Fledglings and the Flylady April thread!

My inspections are three monthly
I keep it pretty tidy anyway but it's easter holidays and my merlets don't share that vision

My stepdad is coming up this afternoon to fix my washing line

I didn't get dressed before 9.00am today so of course we had a delivery. I then took a shower and the phone rang, so I'd better check the answerphone! DD thinking of going out this afternoon and in need of attention this morning, so that's my morning planned! See you at lunchtime.

Managed a little trip to Tesco en famille. Feeling guilty about not getting enough exercise and fresh air since I've been feeling sick and also the Caglets' activities have been off due to Easter so less reason to go out.

Must finish putting the laundry away though, I wasn't up to it last night. Then decluttering. Might list a few bits for sale on FB too.

Took dd to my parents and me and the baby have gone to the shops to get a birthday present for someone. Accidentally stopped for one of those new lindt hot chocolates at Costa..mI can confirm they are delicious but ridiculously small!

Meant to get dd a new hat as well but they are all pretty hideous and look far too big . So overall not particularly successful outing.

I'm having one of those days today where I can't seem to get my arse in gear and get anything done , took me ages to even choose what to wear this morning, the weather is confusing me. Then I got distracted playing with dd and her train set so go nothing done but we had fun!

My parents on the other hand have been left with dd for less than an hour and have already built half a tree house including a slide!

Hi folks.

Didn't manage to get outside again but we've got all clothes put away and did some decluttering too! We can actually see a little floor in our bedroom :o a few bin bags filled with rubbish and we've sorted a load of playmobil too. Drowning in the stuff.

Yes my mum sent me a video of dd going up and down the slide , let's just say I don't think they will get her back in for dinner

Inspection went perfectly the guy said he wished they were all as easy as mine which il take as a big compliment

Done lots of gardening this afternoon as merlets were out
Planted gooseberry bush and sorted the lawn a bit more. My stepdad fixed my washing line too by climbing on my fence aargh

Haven't achieved anything since decluttering earlier. Still got to clear the last bits off our bed. You know where you just suddenly reach your decluttering limit and have no idea what to do with what's left so you shove it off the bed again? Yeah, that. :o

Yep. Know that feeling all too well. This is why I don't think total decluttering is ever fully achievable, some things just don't have a home apart from Kettle pile and the ByTheSideOfTheBed Pile

I am flagging, still really need to get some things done this evening. Pointy stick please!

cagwell done getting out.playmobil is a great toy,but *astard gets under foot/escapes it's boxes....(can you tell we have lashings of it?!)
Also I totally get decluttering limit(that's part how I get RBC)

We went town today(walking) ds2 discovered walk 15,670 steps there n back(wearing pedometer)
Pm she went into garden with lil zoo running around.lil zoo now exhausted and asleep!!
I manage sneak a gift for her birthday into the shopping by let her and D's go into the manna house(churchy shop)whilst I pop in jewelers and pick up a nomination bracelet and a 13 link

This on I opt deep condition my hair and read a but if a book as D's on Minecraft and girls outside!!

Oh and supervise zoolets making birthday and easter cards for dp aunt(she's not coping too well since dp mum die as she also outlive brother of cancer,she was eldest)

Thanks zoo I'm always ironing and faffing about way too late in the evening because I put it off and it builds up. Need to get into habit of doing a bit each day. Doing well with the washing, not so much with the ironing and putting it all away!

Am sure DPs aunt will love the homemade cards, v thoughtful

Evening all....

Spent most of the day trying to wear out the small ones in the park. Self preservation really as one dd has a friend here for a sleepover tonight and other dd was going to a sleepover. Think it might have worked as it is all quiet in the room next door!!! Shhhhhhhh!

Cag well done for the decluttering. I feel your pain re the teaching your limit. I reached that point this afternoon when I tried to sort out the pile of papers on the kitchen table! Ended up surrounded by umpteen piles with no idea where to put them!!!

I have definitely turned a corner today though! Ta das:

Had a work meeting today so not much home stuff done
Went to B&M for fence paint and a paddling pool and came out with a million other things and no paddling pool
Got some pretty garden lights tho

mermaids do you have paddling pool weather? It's pissing it down here.
