Hello all and welcome to the March Flylady thread! Welcome to all current posters and also to any returners plus of course anyone who would like to join. The more the merrier. Jump in where you are.

We are a friendly group who (sort of) follow the Flylady system in hopes of a more organised home and life. Some of us manage that better than others :).

Since last month seemed to be ok I'll follow the same format of personals throughout the day (or in the evening if I haven't had a chance in the day) and links in the evening. Please, though, let me know if you want me to change anything or if I have posted anything wrong.

It's my first time running this thread so here we go with links... Please if anything is wrong feel free to correct me. Hopefully it will all go swimmingly this month but I apologise in advance for anything not slick! I'm starting a day early as have work tomorrow and I am slow at this but will try to stay on the old thread until tomorrow. Thanks again SC and Cotswold as I have basically copied your notes again.

Flylady advises decluttering for 15 mins a day. I tend to manage 5 but I know lots of people have great results with 15.

Newbies, welcome, have a look around the Flylady website www.flylady.net - it can sometimes be a bit disorganised. You can post what we you done (ta das) and any to do lists if you want to- I definitely find this helpful.

I am nervous wreck.dp did application and mustve mispelt his mums maiden name fucked up basicslly(scuse French)and can't access on line result.as usual,royal mail aren't forthcoming written confurmationall council will tell me has been allocated a place, so ut could be in the highlands (we east england)but at least he's got SOMEWHERE to go!!

Other than that I volunteered at community cafe all am yest,quick lunch and wash load on then off to help at mums n tots before get zoolets,come home(wash in dryer)collect friend the library fir comic club.I sat and while away the hour read cookery books the cane back made tea and sat on my bum watch TV exhausted!!

I need get said fat bum in gear as tomorrow we are scattering dmil ashes tom at local reserve(discreetly) we aren't ment leave any markers so are planting snowdrops and poppy seeds if I can find any as it will be in a wildflower meadow...

Dp sister is a neat freak and will just expire state chez zoo.someone pointy stick me with barns on and electric shock to buzz my sorry butt into action....

Oh what a nightmare zoo. I really hope it gets sorted asap. Sorry to hear about your MIL. I hope everything goes well tomorrow. Snowdrops are my favourite flowers.

Hello all, just to say I am finding MN incredibly slow tonight and it keeps crashing my phone when I load it up. I'll put up links as soon as I can after bedtime so they are on and will try to be back with personals.

I Here is the daily summary for Saturday...

We are in Zone 1 this week: the entrance, front porch and dining room

Spend 15 mins (or as much as you can manage if you can't do 15) decluttering in Zone 1.

When you have finished decluttering, (I am jealous!) the detailed cleaning list for Zone 1 is here

No missions or zone work (unless you want to) at weekends.

The daily focus for Saturday is: family fun day

Daily reminders (radio show times are probably not accurate for UK but can listen to previous shows/podcasts)

Baby-step no 4 - write a morning routine on post-its . This is another one you will either love or hate. I have a morning routine on my home routines app but am rubbish at actually following it religiously and checking bits off. I do find the mornings I use it go much more smoothly so will make an effort to use it tomorrow morning!

March habit is getting dressed to shoes - a controversial one here. I find getting dressed early so important but don't wear shoes in the house www.flylady.net/d/habits-of-the-month/march/

Clean front room,divide room into 4 and fud 15 min each section tidy,polish and wash floor as went
Wipe surfaces,cubord fronts and hob in kitchen

Trail Morrison's in search snowdrops as had plan inter dp mums ashes tom(with kids 40mins each way)

The visit from family/interment is off bil has tonsillitis and feeling rubbish not fair ask drive 3hours yoy see us.least got place bit tidier!!

Thanks zoo . Mumsnet is really slow for lots of people (there is an angry thread on site stuff!) so that might explain it. It keeps crashing when I try to get on - has taken me ages to get on to post this - so will be back on tomorrow hoping for better things!

Good evening all. I just wanted to pop by to mark my place. Wed - Fri are work days for me so I don't really get much flying done - it is more survival Tomorrow is ds2s 1st birthday so I cleaned the house from top to bottom after work, wrapped his presents and wrote his cards. I am now off for an early night before what I hope will be a lovely family day tomorrow.

Fingers crossed you might get school letter in post tomorrow zoo. Hope tomorrow goes well, lovely idea with the flowers. Snowdrops are one of my absolute faves. They remind me of my late DM, she loved spring and snowdrops appearing to say it's on its way

Glad you got your blanket finished Purple bet she will cherish it. I made a crochet blanket for DD while I was on mat leave and I was really pleased with it. Took forever though as each square had so many ends to sew in, didn't realise when I picked the pattern!

Event went really well today. Knackered though - I was too stressed to really get into the event myself so I just kind of sat and watched everyone else! :o

Morning all, MN still verrrrrrrrry slow. Just taken me 20 mins to get on to post this. I'll aim to post links early tonight. I can't get back on, tbh as tomorrow is Sunday it is pretty much the same as yesterday and Sunday is renew your spirit day.
