Ho, ho, ho - welcome to the December Flylady thread. We'll be following the Flylady method and enforcing order on our houses. Feel free to join in. The monthly focus for December is pampering Xmas Grin

I'll be posting links to the daily missions, daily focus and the zone cleaning - don't worry about the detailed zone cleaning if you haven't already decluttered, Flylady recommends decluttering first.

You can probably already tell my personal level of dedication to the internet, not the house as I've looked up the Christmas smileys specially. No washing up was done in the making of this post.

I'll post the first December links tonight!

Got to get my arse in gear today!! Someone hide the chocolate from me and unplug the TV...

zoo what a lovely item to find in the boxes.

Decorations are down, just tree to do, already the house looks more open and airy, I absolutely love Christmas don't get me wrong, but after Boxing Day I'm ready to move on to new horizons.

Will be spending tonight in the house with dh and slow cooked gammon, think it's our first one staying in but I couldn't think of anything worse than going somewhere crowded with drunk people. Had a lot of braxton hicks lately which is interrupting my sleep and making it very difficult to stay awake past 9pm!

That properly made me laugh. Grin

It's been an expensive but useful morning. I've ordered a car to collect next week. I've been driving my husband's car fairly happily since the accident but it'll be really good to be independently mobile again. We're semi rural with rubbish public transport so it's a real hassle without a car when he goes back to work on Monday. Finding some new work for me has now moved to very high priority.

Ta da's
Bought a car
Moved shoes into new cabinets
Fixed broken runners on chest of drawers
Attached bookcase to wall
Dishwasher and washing machine on
Bins emptied-had to sit on outside bin to get it to shut

To dos
Finish putting Christmas decorations away
Yet more tidying (it seems never ending at the moment)
Clean cooker top (just noticed it is absolutely disgusting and still covered in most of a Christmas dinner)
Look at credit crunch budgeting threads/frugal meal planning after buying car...

foxes I'd offer to hide your chocolate but you may well not get it back. Grin
