Christmas decorations are down here.

Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Got everything done today including prepping dinner in the slow cooker ready for tomorrow
Back to work tomorrow but look forward to joining you properly in 2 weeks once I'm on maternity leave (when my list will comprise of feed baby and get dressed )

Tomorrow's list:

• tidy beds
• iron uniforms
• wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen
• empty bins
• washing
• fold and put away clean washing
• sweep floors downstairs
• ring dentist
• take dd3 to toddler group

Rare day at home just me and dd

Need to get my clean on!

Hi everyone. I've done a few bits on my list so far but not all. I've also got to go and do my sister's cleaning - can't believe I forgot that one!

• tidy beds done

• take dd3 to toddler group done
• clean sister's house

I'm going to put dd3 down for a nap in a minute then I'll eat lunch and get my jobs finished. I can then go and do my sister's cleaning when dh gets home from work.

Just waiting for dh to come home then I can go and clean my sister's house. I really dislike Thursdays as I don't feel as though I get a moment to myself all day.

Sister's house is all nice, clean and sparkly. Tonight's jobs:

• make tea
• wash dishes and clean kitchen
• fold and put away clean washing
• bath toddler
• put toddler's toys away

I'm off visiting my grandad in hospital at 6.30pm so I need to get all my stuff done before then.

Wish I had someone to make my house nice and sparkly!

Me too Fresh. I'd give anything to be able to afford a cleaner.

Still need to clean the fridge...
Recycling needs taken out

Have ordered a takeaway - being a bit lazy tonight!

Today i have cleaned, bleached and mopped the bathroom and downstairs loo, made the beds, tidied up, made tea, wash up and wiped kitchen.

Good morning all. Today's jobs:

• wash one set of wet bed covers and remake bed
• washing
• fold and put away clean covers
• dust living room
• wipe over both bathrooms
• clean windows and mirrors downstairs
• sweep floors downstairs

I think that's it for now.

I could probably afford a cleaner

But I would clean before she came so it would be pointless

Home from work, walked along to the post office to post a parcel and now having a sit down and a cuppa.

Working myself up to:

Wrapping DH's aunt's birthday present
Washing the dishes
Wiping down the worktops
Washing machine and tumble dryer on
Strip the bed and wash the bedding

This is going to be a struggle - I can't be arsed...going to party all day tomorrow though so need to get a move on!

Right -

Bed stripped will do in the morning, no idea why I thought it was a good idea to do tonight
Aunt's birthday present done

Still need to do the bloody fridge and wash the dishes

What are everyone else's weekend jobs? This is very sad but I like reading all your lists and finding stuff to do that hadn't occurred to me before

You've done well to get your list done Handbags. Where are you going tomorrow? We have a child free night tomorrow so are going into town for a few drinks with friends, I can't wait!

My jobs for tomorrow (which includes my usual weekend jobs) are:

• strip beds
• remake beds
• tidy bedrooms
• dust bedrooms
• Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
• clean all windows and mirrors
• clean and mop both bathrooms
• wash dishes
• clean kitchen
• dust living room
• sweep and mop throughout downstairs
• washing
• fold and put away clean washing
• clean cat litter tray
• empty all bins
• pack dd2 and dd3's bags for overnight stay at mil's - yay! (The elder 2 pack their own stuff to go to their dad's)

I'm hoping to get all this done by 1pm ish so then I can relax in the afternoon and have a long, leisurely bath when the kids have gone.

Hi all, today i have made the beds, tidied up, hoovered round, polished and dusted downstairs, made tea, washed dishes, wiped kitchen. This weekend i need to do the washing and change beds. Other than that hopefully just keep the house looking decent until Monday

We're off to DH'S Aunt's birthday party although it is literally a blizzard outside so not sure about that!

Got woken up by the cat pawing my face at 7:00 so just got up and have:

Folded all the clean towels and clothes
Hoovered
Did the dishes that I was supposed to finish last night
Polished the downstairs furniture
Wiped all the kitchen surfaces
Wiped the paw marks off the wall beside the kitchen door
Cleaned the kitchen bin

I've just heard DH go into the shower so will nip upstairs and strip the bed while he's in.

Then have my own shower and see if the weather has improved!

Wow you have been busy already! No snow here, don't want any either. We've got friends coming round here at midday then off for a pub lunch

I've done nothing yet this morning. I also need to go down to the walk in centre once we're all dressed as I think dd1 has a UTI...

Hi everyone, hope you dont mind if i butt in again! My house is a disgrace and needs major decluttering and cleaning. Which i hope to dedicate Feb to! For this morning I just want to tidy downstairs. Am starting at 10am and going to do an hr. Will break it into 15 mins segments though!

Ok dishes done, kitchen wiped, both toilets cleaned, washing load on, beds made. I like this thread because it spurs me on to do the housework and then when it comes to having people round the house is mostly already ready

We got home this lunchtime.

This afternoon:

Went to the shops to get bits and bobs
DH put bedding in tumble
DH folded clothes
Took suitcase we had borrowed back to MIL
Made lunch
Did lunch dishes
Had a general tidy of kitchen and wiped down surfaces
Rounded up all the pot plants (and put the ones I don't like or have half-killed on the patio)
DH has changed cat litter
Dusted the inside of the car and bagged up any stray bits of paper/receipts
Put fresh flowers in the living room and kitchen

To do:

DH is making burgers for tea
Remake bed
wash up tea things
Hoover upstairs
Make packed lunches of some sort for tomorrow

Feeling quite pleased with my house!

Tea done, dishes washed.
I've just run myself a bath and DH is watching The Hobbit downstairs

Managed to give the fridge a wipe out earlier too.

Will Hoover the upstairs tomorrow and DH is going to make up the bed in a minute or so.
