Christmas decorations are down here.

Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Done
Get meat and cheese out of freezer for dinner
Tidy kitchen
Do lunch
Unload/re load dishwasher
Empty washing machine
Sweep hallway and kitchen
Tidy lounge
Hoover lounge
Take down decorations
Dust downstairs
Tidy under stairs cupboard
Get dinner sorted (DH sorted this one 😉)
Get dressed blush
Tidy bathroom
Also cleaned moped and dusted bathroom
District and swept stairs
Everything upstairs ie decoration for DH to put in the loft
Another load in machine

Now to:
Empty dishwasher
Make a cheese sauce for the lasagne mix
Entertain my lovely friends

Kids all slept in til 9.30 today so a late start ( but lovely!)
-decs all down, boxed & returned to loft

• washed coats
• hand-washed glasses and tableware to go back into hiding until next celebration!
• 2nd load of pots going through dishwasher

-whole house tidied, dusted & hoovered

• fridge cleared and to be cleaned
• 3 more bags of recycling organised

Takeaway for dinner!

Hardly any housework has happened here again today, I can't wait til the kids are back at school so I can get back to my routine again!

All I've done from my list is bath the baby and wash the dishes. I have been so lazy, I had a shower at 12 and still haven't dried my hair at 4.50pm!!

The kids have had an early tea so that's one less job to do. I'm going out at 7pm for dinner with my sisters so dh has decided now is the perfect time to go to bed for an hour or two. Grrrr! Looks like I'll be doing the baby's bedtime whilst getting myself ready at the same time later... Dh can sort his own tea and tidy up downstairs when he gets up!

Today i have:

• dettol'd kitchen tops
• made the beds
• cleaned the bath
• cleaned the bathroom basin
• cleaned and bleached the loo
• put new bathroom towels out
• mopped the bathroom floor
• polished and dusted the lounge
• general tidy up
• made tea

Didn't get the skirtings wiped down. It was an optimistic one that one. Gonna chill out tomorrow and have a family day before everyone goes back to school and work on Monday. Xmas and NYE has been and gone so quickly

Taking a break today, it's Saturday and I have house to myself, and got tons done yesterday so don't feel guilty. Huge list of stuff to do tomorrow, that I have all day to potter around and do. Love Sundays, best day to clean.

Today was supposed to be a productive day with DH back at work but with only 4 hours disturbed sleep lagging, so hello again!

Hi everyone. Last day of the school holidays today - woohoo - so I can get back to my routine tomorrow.

Today so far I have done 3 loads of washing (third is in the washer) and have folded the clean, dry washing. I have joined Slimming World, taken the kids into town to spend some Christmas money, taken Ds to the orthodontist, written a shopping list and I'm about to go and do the weekly shop at Aldi.

Left to do is:

• go shopping
• wash dishes from breakfast and lunch and wipe down worktops
• make tea and clean up afterwards
• fold and put away the rest of the washing
• iron uniforms
• sweep and mop downstairs
• dust living room
• empty bins
• check kids' homework is done
• make sure all kids are bathed/showered before bed
• make sure kid's school bags/shoes/pe kits are ready

Hello,
I have managed to strip all the beds wash and remake.
Cleaned kitchen and swept hard floors downstairs.
Ds did the recycling.
Took dog for long walk.
Took mum for DVLA eye test.
Sainsburys delivery put away.
Menu plan completed for the up-coming week.
Wood brought in and wood burner lit.

Need to do one more load of laundry ( towels).
Wipe round the toilets.
Hoover our bedroom.
Help Ds prep his back pack, PE kit and polish shoes for school tomorrow.

Early night as back to school tomorrow so normal routines will be back ( such as they are! )

I never knew this thread existed! Can I join?
My house is a tip and I've pencilled tomorrow in to get on top of it, I really then want to get into the habit of doing about an hour of cleaning a day to stop it ever getting this bad again.
I also want to get into the habit of a wash a day
I do have the time just dreadful organisation.
Really looking to self improve everything in 2016...

First day back at work. First load of washing in. Two baskets of clean washing to put away and pe kits to find for tomorrow. Could be a long evening....

Hello! Can I join? I'm about to go back to work after the Christmas hols and while the house has been looking nice while I've been at home, I need some motivation to carry it on when I'm back to work!!

Here's what I've done so far today:

Made pot of chilli for tonight's tea and tomorrow
Wiped around bathroom
Hoovered stairs and bedrooms
Put away clean clothes from yesterday and tidied bedroom
Put washing on

Wash pots from cooking
Mop kitchen floor
Wipe down kitchen surfaces
Tidy out a bit more of spare room ready for baby!

Having a cuppa and a biscuit just now!

Evening all!
Today I managed:

*Laundry- towels all done
Swept and tidied lounge
Cleaned kitchen sink and range hob.
Toilets wiped round& bleached

Also fixed fault on w/ machine all by myself!!! £35 call out saved! Filter totally blocked! Apparently it needs cleaning more often than once every 2 years! Who knew?!!!*

Hi everyone. Been missing a few days but I'm back on it today.

So far today I have:

• tidied beds
• brought all dirty washing downstairs
• tidied bedrooms and landing
• washed dishes and wiped over kitchen
• tidied living room
• swept floors downstairs
• put a load of darks in the washer
• cleaned my sister's house and done 2 loads of washing for her while I was there.

To do:

• wrap niece's birthday present and go round and give it to her
• make tea and clean up after
• do cold wash
• fold and put away clean clothes
• bath baby
• make sure kids do homework

For now though, baby is asleep so it's sofa and brew time!
