Kim82 · 23/04/2016 08:54

Crap. Just remembered there is some clean washing in the dryer from last night so I'll fold and put that away first.

General tidy round done
Dishwasher* done*
Hand washing* done*
See if dd needs a load to go on* done*

Dirty towels waiting to go in.
Changed dd cot too

Just going to wiz round and clear up the many toys that dd has got out this morning and then going to see my parents.

Ah fresh I was up with the lark as well. Dh got up at 5.30 for work and I couldn't get back off and then dd was up at 6.30-by which stage I'd got a shower and not much else done! Usually she's up at 7.30- damn early sunrise!!!

Afreshstartplease · 23/04/2016 10:32

Washing in the dryer
Next wash load on

Just sorted through dds drawers (stuff to keep incase baby is a girl and stuff for charity bag)Now there is some space for her newer clothes! Need to do her wardrobe too but gonna do some more of the kitchen first

Back from town, bought everything needed, went to McDonald's on the way back so no clearing up after lunch needed. Dd3 is now in bed napping and the others are playing in the garden. Now to sit and do nothing until dd3 wakes up.

Kim82 · 23/04/2016 18:43

All done - yay!

  • strip and remake all beds done
  • dust bedrooms done
  • Hoover bedrooms, landing and stairs done
  • wash bed covers, dry and put them away done
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen done
  • sweep and mop throughout downstairs done
  • clean and mop both bathrooms done
  • dust and polish living room done
  • go into town to buy dd2 school summer dresses and some sandles, dd1 some leggings, dd3 some sandles and something for me to wear to a christening on Sunday done

I've also cleaned up all the toys and crap left over from all the kids in the street playing in our garden, made tea and cleaned up after, made sure all kids were showered/bathed and I've managed it all on my own as Dh was at work this morning and then he went to help his grandma with something this afternoon and only got home just as tea was ready.

Bedtime for toddler in half an hour or so and then I can sprawl on the sofa with a hot Vimto (I'm so rock n roll), britains got talent and then watch a film with Dh later. I'm bloody shattered and will no doubt be in bed by 10pm!

Afreshstartplease · 23/04/2016 20:55

I gave up after lunch

Now in bed waiting for casualty although u know I'll fall asleep

OP posts:
Kim82 · 23/04/2016 21:42

I'm off to bed myself soon, I hope you manage to enjoy casualty fresh before you nod off.

Tomorrow's list:

  • tidy beds
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • empty bins
  • washing
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • iron uniforms
  • nitcomb girls' hair
  • make sure kids have done homework
  • bathe toddler

We're at a christening tomorrow so hopefully the house might stay pretty clean as we won't be in it.

Afreshstartplease · 24/04/2016 07:24

Thanks, I did surprisingly manage to watch it all

Think I've only been up once in the night to the loo and dd was up at 630 so not too bad but I'm really achey today it's taking me a lot to get going! Think the spd/pgp has definitely set in now

Living room is tidyish so I'll hoover that soon before all the toys come out

I have two beds left to strip wash and remake

Few pots from last night

Animals and bins need doing

Think if I can manage those today I'll be happy

OP posts:
willhazboz · 24/04/2016 08:03

I was in bed before casualty would have started Blush
Today I need to:
Brush and mop kitchen and hall
Put away dd clothes done
Dry towels in dryer
Put away towels
General tidy
Make tea
Clear up after
Have a quick run through kitchen to see if there is anything that dh can take the tip as he is doing tip runs tomorrow.

We are out for lunch so best get cracking. Dd stayed in bed till 7.15 though!

willhazboz · 24/04/2016 08:18

Oh and after selling loads of stuff on eBay dh has finally agreed to getting a new vacuum cleaner Grin our current one is terrible. We won't be getting a fancy pants one as can't justify dyson money whilst on mat leave.

Kim82 · 24/04/2016 09:20

Morning. I feel nice and awake today. After me saying I'd hate to get up before 7am dd3 woke at 6.30am this morning. Luckily Dh got up with her and I stayed in bed until 8.45. So far all I've managed to do is make tea and toast and put the washer on. I'll have another brew I think then make a start on the kitchen - I'm enjoying snuggles on the sofa with the toddler for now.

Afreshstartplease · 24/04/2016 09:31

I've not managed to do anything yet! I forgot to eat when I got up and ended up being sick. Usually eating first thing wards off the morning sickness!

Right I'm gonna get dressed

OP posts:
Skivvywoman · 24/04/2016 11:12

Good morning all, I've got a lot of catching up to do today as I've literally done nothing since Thursday!

So far I've done a load of washing so after I finish my coffee I need to crack on

Make beds and tidy rooms
Hang washing out
Clean bathroom
Do dishes clean kitchen
Dust whole house
Hoover and mop

Dh is here so we will muck in together

willhazboz · 24/04/2016 14:51

Brush and mop kitchen and hall done
Put away dd clothes done
Dry towels in dryer* done*
Put away towels* done*
General tidy* done*
Make tea
Clear up after
Have a quick run through kitchen to see if there is anything that dh can take the tip as he is doing tip runs tomorrow.

I also sorted out my pile of gift bags for re-using and chucked all the rubbish ones and sorted then into sections.

I washed down the outside of my washing machine as well and cleaned the drawer out and washed down the tumble dryer.

Poor fresh you are suffering! Kudos for doing so much! I find I can't walk in morning properly until my shower (must be the warm water) but I get shaky if I don't eat straight away. So cereal bar then shower it is! Might actually take a cereal bar to bed with me tonight for the morning.

celeste83 · 24/04/2016 15:10

Hi all, not done much today only stripped and changed the beds, put bedding in the wash and put another load of washing on too.

handbags88 · 24/04/2016 17:02

Hey everyone,

Woke up super late this morning after staying up till 1am reading 'the girl on the train'. Oops, better make the most of stuff like that before baby arrives Blush

Today I have:

Put a washing on
Hung washing out
Washed up breakfast dishes
Hoovered and Swept
Made the bed
Wiped round the bathroom
Wiped round the kitchen
Took out the recycling

DH has:
Dismantled old garden shed and taken it to the tip
Built new plastic garden storage thing and tidied all the garden tools away
Went to the shops and purchased bits for dinner
Has made the dough for pizzas tonight
Moved plant pots around the garden at my bidding

He's doing well! Grin

Tomorrow I think I will:

Change the bedding
Get stuck into the ironing
Visit the cemetery with flowers for Nana/Grandad
General tidy up

Hope you are feeling better Fresh

willhazboz · 24/04/2016 22:44

Oh 'girl on the train' is a good book!

I finished everything apart from going through kitchen today. But I did sort a wardrobe in dd room that's just full of crap and 3 drawers that have cables and stationary in. Now have 2 empty shelves in the wardrobe and an empty drawer. And one of the shelves is full of dh crap that he has promised to have a look at.
Well dh made tea and I cleared up so that was nice Smile
Tomorrow:
Might have to take dsis to the midwife (she's pregnant also) and I have midwife in the afternoon.
Clean bathroom
Dust bedrooms
Go through kitchen but I think it's mostly charity shop stuff not tip worthy.
Might go through my handbags scarves and gloves again as think I could be more ruthless.

Want to save any hoovering until dh picks up my new Hoover on Tuesday! How sad.

handbags88 · 24/04/2016 22:51

I love having clear outs Will - the smug feeling you get afterwards is great! Grin

I've just had a quick whizz around and a tidy up downstairs before bed.

DH left the kitchen in a bit of a mess, although not a total bombsite this time so I've:

Given the worktops a wipe down
Chucked the dishes in the sink
Brought in the washing from outside
Swept the kitchen floor
Had a mini tidy of the sitting room

Am now in bed, starting on Wolf Hall!

Berks2Mum · 25/04/2016 04:41

Has anyone used Simple Green cleaner. Came across it looking at how to look after leather in car. Can't work out if smell is going to be ok, I like things once done to have nice aroma. but not overpowering.
www.simplegreen.co.uk/index.php/buy-simple-green-household-products-uk
It looks like it might replace having lots of products or is that just wishful thinking (sigh)?

celeste83 · 25/04/2016 08:23

Morning all.

Another weekend over, they go so quickly Sad

Todays to do list:

make beds
wash dishes
wipe kitchen
wipe bathroom + bleach loo
bleach downstairs loo
general tidy up
ironing

Kim82 · 25/04/2016 09:18

Morning everyone. Monday's come around so quickly don't they? So far this morning I have:

  • tidied beds
  • tidied bedrooms and brought all the washing down
  • put the washer on
  • emptied bins and put outside for bin men
  • ironed uniforms
  • eaten, showered and dressed
  • taken chicken out of freezer to defrost for tea

I still need to:

  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • more washing
  • fold and put away bed covers still in the dryer from Saturday (lazy)
  • sweep all floors downstairs
  • bathe and dress toddler
  • tidy living room

I also need to pick Ds up from school at 10.30, take him to the orthodontist then drop him back at school. Hopefully I can get my list done before I go. I'll add more to it later but that's it for now.

handbags88 · 25/04/2016 09:47

Morning everybody! Been up for a bit but not done anything useful yet.

Going for a shower and then will make a start on my list!
