New cleaning thread

Christmas decorations are down here.

Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Jobs are all done, we've had a nice, relaxing afternoon in the garden while toddler played and I sat and painted my nails. We've just nipped out to a big toy shop to price up a toddler swing and ended up coming home with a massive wooden play set so Dh and bil are currently build of it in the garden. My list for this evening is:

• make tea
• clean up after tea
• bathe toddler
• put toddler's toys away
• iron tomorrow's uniforms
• put last wash load into dryer
• fold and put away clean washing

Glad everyone's having good days and enjoying the sunshine
I have done everything on my list and forgot the bed again but I'll do that tomorrow!
Didn't make it to the park - went to get my mums birthday card and then it was school kicking out time so would have been too busy so we played in the garden instead.
I've managed to sort out the linen chest as well and took old bedding and towels to the recycling. Washed my winter coat as I didn't need to wear it today. Having. Another sort out of the under sink cupboard as it quickly get messy. And I went and got some cheap baskets to store dusters and new sponges in. Just need to tidy kitchen after dd tea and put away her clothes that I've washed and dried.
Tomorrow:
Change bed
Clean bathroom
Put away shopping when it's delivered
If weather is this nice I will wash the outside of the conservatory

Dh is going to be rug doctoring our rug,sofas and carpets upstairs so I'll wash the removable covers as well.
Dd is off to gp's tomorrow morning so should be able to crack on! Then going for coffee with mil in the afternoon.

I've done everything apart from mop and iron and do behind the tumble dryer

But I did take the dog to the park

So far I've made all beds
Done dishes and cleaned kitchen
Put a load of washing on
Folded dry washing

After work I need to nip into town and get a few bits
Then when I come home
Hoover and mop
Ironing

I'm going to try and dust and clean bathroom before I leave for work

Today i will mostly be killing germs in the bathroom and downstairs loo

Morning everyone. I don't have loads to do today, just:

• tidy beds
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen
• bathe toddler
• washing
• fold and put away clean washing
• dust living room
• buy something to wear for an interview tomorrow
• buy dd2 some school summer dresses
• buy something to put on enormous cold sore which came up this morning (great timing just before an interview - grrr)

You really do skivvy! I'd be ready for bed by the time I got to work.
I've stripped the covers off one of the sofas and put in washing machine. Currently on hold to the bank trying to sort Internet banking out. So summoning the energy to clean the bathroom while I wait.
Another lovely day here too!

Morning everyone! Not been here for a while but I've also been pottering about outdoors.

Love the sound of the plays etc Kim! The house is tidy, today I need to give the bathroom a clean and do the breakfast dishes

Then outside again to enjoy the sunshine!

Right I've cleaned the bathroom.
Went through my 3(!!!) drawers of toiletries and sorted them out. And the communal toiletry drawer.
Tackled shoes and chucked what I don't wear anymore.
Cleaned the outside of the conservatory Windows and the kitchen window inside
Going to put a darks wash on then go to get dd.
I was wondering where you were handbags! How are you feeling? Not long now!

Done:
-made beds
-washed dishes
-cleaned downstairs loo (cleaned and bleached loo, cleaned and bleached basin, emptied and cleaned bin, cleaned mirror, cleaned window, mopped floor)
-cleaned the bathroom (cleaned bath, cleaned and bleached loo, cleaned and bleached basin, cleaned shower and shower screen, cleaned tiles, cleaned mirror, cleaned window, emptied and cleaned bin)
-general tidy up

I'm fine thanks Will - just pootling about the house slowly getting enormous got a week left until I'm due. How are you doing? And Fresh?

I got my arse in gear today and:

Cleaned the bathroom
Swept floors
Made bed
Cleaned mirrors
Did 2 washings and hung them out
Watered all the pot plants in the garden
General tidy up of any clutter
Did dishes
Wiped down kitchen

Need to:

Make dinner
Tackle the pile of old post/junk mail in the hall

Go to shop to get milk etc for my parents (who get back from holiday today)
I hope that I can sort out an under bed drawer. There's one that I can't remember what is in it!

Dishwasher and clear up
Put dark wash away

Oh and I am good thanks handbags! 2 weeks left - I'm already massive developed a right waddle and need sustenance every couple of hours!

Today's list is:

• sweep and mop floors downstairs
• clean and mop both bathrooms
• Hoover bedrooms, landing and stairs

I have the interview at 11am so I'll see how much I can get done before then. Dh is off today so he can pitch in and do a few jobs too.

I wouldn't be messing around with housework before an interview i'd be relaxing getting myself in a positive frame of mind. Fingers crossed Kim!

Today is a dusting, polishing and hoovering day for me.

Hope the interview went well Kim.

I've sorted the pile of mail (at last).

Also:

• put a washing on
• hung a washing out
• put a load in the tumble
• washed breakfast dishes
• made the bed
• general tidy up of all rooms

Considering:

• cutting the grass
• polishing and dusting

Need to:

• fold yesterday's clean clothes
• make dinner
• tidy up kitchen after dinner

I'm hoping I can keep this up because I really don't want to bring the baby back from hospital to a mess

Good evening all. I didn't do everything on my list, I have spent the day in the garden again enjoying the sun while it lasts. I have done five loads of washing though and have been folding and putting it away as I go so that's one less job for tomorrow.

Tomorrow's list will be:

• strip and remake all beds
• dust bedrooms
• Hoover bedrooms, landing and stairs
• wash bed covers, dry and put them away
• wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen
• sweep and mop throughout downstairs
• clean and mop both bathrooms
• go into town to buy dd2 school summer dresses and some sandles, dd1 some leggings, dd3 some sandles and something for me to wear to a christening on Sunday
• buy card and gift for baby being christened.

Just need to get the toddler to bed and sort out a bit more washing today then it's sofa and brew time!

I finished everything in my list today! Also went to the clothes recycling

Tomorrow:
General tidy round
Dishwasher
Hand washing
See if dd needs a load to go on
Clean bathroom
Change towels

Nothing too taxing as hoping to enjoy the weekend!

Morning all!

It's weekend so I am here to try and fix my bin of a house!

Up at 550 with three year old but luckily the sun is out for now at least

Completely abandoned all cleaning/tidying/putting away last night and went to bed at 9pm

So its like a bomb went off

I've done so far -

Half of the pots
Wiped the draining board
Put rubbish in the bins
Half tidied the living room
Put some wet washing on radiators

So lots of half finished jobs!

Urge, 5.50 fresh? I think I'd cry if I had to get up at that time! I think 7am is too early haha.

I got up at just gone 7.30am and so far I have stripped two beds and put covers in the washer, hoovered the bedrooms, landing and stairs and swept throughout downstairs. I'm waiting for dd2&3 to eat breakfast then I can wash the dishes and finish off the kitchen. Quick brew stop then I'll dust and polish the living room and clean the downstairs bathroom. Hopefully they'll have finished eating by then so I can get going with the breakfast dishes.

I never get bed until 730

We get up on work days at 630 so it's usually between then and 7 on weekends but not today!

Even the older two were up at 715 and 745

I still haven't finished any of the jobs I started
My shopping just came so I need to put that away
I have managed to put on the dryer and the washing machine
