Done:

  • Made beds
  • washed dishes
  • decluttered my handbag
  • bleached kitchen sink
  • hoovered all rooms
  • put a washing load on
  • mopped kitchen floor

Doen the kitchen floor, now onto the bathroom floors. I've just used my laser vision eyes to look through my bleach bottle and i'm optimistically judging i have enough bleach to also do another raid on any lingering flu germs in the loos Grin Must stock up this weekend however. Gone through a bottle this week with this bug!

A question for you guys! DH thinks this was passive-aggressive of me...

Weather here today is shit (as in most places) and very windy. Our neighbours put their recycling bin out (overflowing with lid up) plus 2 cardboard boxes of extra boxes at the side (explicitly states on bin sticker that bins will not be collected if overflowing and not to leave extra rubbish out etc).
Of course, all of this blew all over the whole Street and our garden and our neighbour on the other side's garden was covered in old chippy/pizza boxes.

When I get home from the shops with DH, I notice that they have returned home, put their bin away and left all their shit all over both our gardens!

I scooped it all up, went round and popped it back in their bin. DH thinks I should have put it in our bin.

I should add that I was fully prepared to be cheery and say something like 'you missed these bits, just thought I'd pop them in here for you' etc.

Was I being PA??

handbags88 · 01/04/2016 18:33

Should also add that I've done all my housework for today and the house is looking okay Grin

Kim82 · 01/04/2016 18:52

You did better than me handbags I'd have got the buggers to come ou and pick all their crap up themselves! No way should it have gone in your bins!

I've done very little from my list today apart from clean my sister's house and wash the dishes. Dh is taking the kids out for a good few hours tomorrow though so I'm going to do the house top to bottom and get it nice and sparkling clean. Dh is going out tomorrow night too so I get to enjoy a nice, clean house in peace with a glass of wine. My list, therefore, will be:

  • bathe toddler
  • strip beds
  • remake beds
  • washing
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • tidy bedrooms
  • dust bedrooms
  • clean all upstairs mirrors and windows
  • clean and mop upstairs bathroom
  • Hoover all bedrooms, landing and stairs
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • empty bins
  • dust living room
  • tidy hall and shoe rack
  • tidy living room
  • dust living room
  • clean all downstairs mirrors and windows
  • Hoover sofas
  • sweep and mop downstairs floors
  • clean and mop downstairs bathroom
  • clean out cat litter tray
  • scrub cat food mats
  • clean banisters on the landing and stairs

I can't wait to get started as the house is a shit tip at the moment and it's depressing me.

handbags88 · 01/04/2016 19:51

Thanks Kim - I was starting to think I was that neighbour!

You deserve your glass of wine tomorrow, after cleaning your sister's house today and your own tomorrow.

You've also reminded me that I need to clean the cat bowls and mats tomorrow too...oops!

We're finally going to paint the baby's room tomorrow, so I'm in bed being lazy and nosing for ideas on pinterest Smile

willhazboz · 01/04/2016 22:59

I probably would have put it in my bin, however I don't think you are being PA! I just wish I had the balls. However my neighbours are rough as toast and frighten the life out of me! And the other side is a little old lady with dementia so would forgive her Grin
I didn't do the living room. I did dust it but couldn't be arsed didn't get round to hoovering. Went to visit my friend though. Took a dodgy bottle of cordial back to asda and had my parents round for tea and cleared up - though my mum made the tea :)

Ooh how exciting handbags are you going for a particular theme?

Tomorrow I am hoping to hoover living room.
Put washing away
Make tea
Clear up
Do hand washing

I am going for lunch with mil so wish me luck!

Kim82 · 02/04/2016 14:00

willhazboz · 02/04/2016 15:34

Your list makes me feel tired Kim!
I have:
Hoovered living room
Been to get petrol (took me 30 mins to get out of petrol station due to roadworksAngry)
Been for lunch
Popped to shop to get cheesecake ingredients
Done hand washing
Cleared up recycling etc from last night (my family drinks too much! And I'm a grumpy pregnant person)
Emptied dishwasher
Put dd washing away

Dh is up (nightshifts) so he's taken dd for a play and a bath. I'm dead on my feet at the moment.

Kim82 · 02/04/2016 16:58

My list is making me tired too will!

I've done a few more bits but still not finished. Need to stop and sort the kid's tea now then I'll carry on again after:

  • washing third load in washer
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • tidy bedrooms done

  • clean banisters on the landing and stairs done on the landing
Kim82 · 02/04/2016 18:00

I changed my mind about making the kids' tea. I decided I'd carry on cleaning then when I'm done we could go to McDonalds (also because I didn't want to mess up the clean kitchen...)

  • bathe toddler
  • strip beds done
  • remake beds done
  • washing third load in washer
  • fold and put away clean washing done
  • tidy bedrooms done
  • dust bedrooms done
  • clean all upstairs mirrors and windows done
  • clean and mop upstairs bathroom done
  • Hoover all bedrooms, landing and stairs done
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen done
  • empty bins done
  • dust living room done
  • tidy hall and shoe rack done
  • tidy living room done
  • clean all downstairs mirrors and windows done
  • Hoover sofas done
  • sweep and mop downstairs floors done
  • clean and mop downstairs bathroom done
  • clean out cat litter tray not been used
  • scrub cat food mats done
  • clean banisters on the landing and stairs done

I'm just going to have a quick shower then I'm off to McDonald's for tea. I'll bathe the toddler once she's eaten then I can sit in front of the tv with a well deserved ice cold beer and have full control of the tv as Dh is out for the night - yay!

handbags88 · 02/04/2016 18:56

Good shout with going to McDonald's Kim.

A busy day for all I think! We got the baby's room painted (we're having a girl and we've gone with a pale apple green - my Dad is going to paint a tree on the wall over the cot/bed) now we've ordered a takeaway and are being lazy on the couch.

Furniture is coming tomorrow courtesy of SIL so it will look very real very soon!

Kim82 · 02/04/2016 19:36

How long do you have left now handbags? Have you got names picked out? I always found girls names so hard and I had 3 of them to name and just one Ds!

Kim82 · 02/04/2016 23:14

Tomorrow's list before I go to bed:

  • tidy beds
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • washing
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • go to the aldi for something for tea and kitchen roll
  • wipe down all internal doors
  • pull all furniture out in living room and clean underneath
  • clean kitchen cupboard doors and outside of fridge
  • buy some sort of wax to treat kitchen table
Afreshstartplease · 03/04/2016 08:14

Right ladies I am here for the day

Yesterday morning I made my kitchen so tidy it was lovely, and then everyone trashed it Shock

This thread made me want McDonald's

I think I am leaving the awfully sick and drained stage of pregnancy now at 12+1

I always found I had lots of girls names when pregnant and very few ideas for boys, we have two boys and a girl. I have again got lots of girl names this time round but only one or two maybes for boys

With the boys dp has made the final decision as I just couldn't

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 03/04/2016 08:15

Damn I hit post to soon

So far -

Wet washing in the dryer
Sink filled up

Next

Load washer
Put away dry pots
Was pots
Empty bin

OP posts:
willhazboz · 03/04/2016 08:41

I'm like you fresh loads of girl names but hardly any boys! I had a girl last time and I don't know this time.
We have an apple green in our nursery too handbags with a tree wall vinyl with owls on. It's left over from my daughter (moved her to bigger bedroom in prep!)
Today:
Unload dishwasher done
Reload dishwasher done
Do hand washing done just waiting for dd to finish breakfast to do her dishes
Wash tablecloth and take to mums to hang out (hangs head in shame-I don't have a washing line!)
General tidy
Need to go to the shopping park to get a boots restock on makeup and some toiletries also primark has recently opened there so might have a little gander even though I hate it!

willhazboz · 03/04/2016 20:03

Well I washed tablecloth (and got my dad to hang it out for me Grin) and also did a wash with the dogs blanket and towel and then a darks wash.
Darks are just in the dryer now.
Took my mum to the shopping park and got my toiletries and some flip flops for in the hospital shower (90p from primark-well worth the visit!)
Also cleaned out the dogs cupboard and managed to rearrange a few bits so all the crap on the surfaces in the conservatory/utility/dumping ground are away! Still need to do the other side of the room which I am debating this evening. Then I need to hoover all the cobwebs up!

willhazboz · 03/04/2016 22:06

Did the rest of the conservatory but not sure if I thought I was the jolly green giant when I was thinking of hoovering up the cobwebs. The ceiling is sooo tall! So that's a job for dh and a ladder.

celeste83 · 04/04/2016 10:44

Morning all,

I just use a brush for getting spider webs willhazboz Hate spider webs Grin

Hope everyone had a nice weekend? We went out for a walk on Saturday then mingled round the house yesterday as the weather was not so great here yesterday. Sat and watched dvds with ds most of the day. Did change the beds and the daily stuff though. This morning we have been to hospital for ds speech therapist check up. He's coming along well now and they don't need to see him again till he is 4 Smile

We are going out for tea tonight so don't need to cook or tidy up Grin

Kim82 · 04/04/2016 13:54

Hi, I'm back again today. I've done all my jobs so far so am sitting with a brew whilst the toddler sleeps. So far today I have:

  • bathe toddler

I think that's all that needs doing so it's a pretty easy day today.
