New cleaning thread

Christmas decorations are down here.

Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Good evening everyone. I didn't come back and do another list for this afternoon as I was feeling lazy but I motivated myself and did a few jobs this evening. I:

• made tea
• washed dishes and cleared up after tea
• put some more washing in which is now in the dryer
• folded and put away the clothes washed this morning
• swept and mopped the kitchen
• tidied toddler's toys away

Just waiting for toddler to go to bed then I can relax for the evening.

Tidy our room - done

Clean bathrooms
Hand washing
Dark wash - done
Clean dd's inhaler out - done
Volunteer at dc's school - done
Take dc swimming - done

Better than I expected!

Tomorrow morning's list:

• tidy beds
• wash dishes
• fold and put away clothes in the dryer
• dust living room
• sweep and mop living room
• clean and mop downstairs bathroom

Ah yes handbags very busy! Excited but scared! We have everything from my lg so not really had to get much sorted! Thanks for the well wishes my lg is fine! Bit grumpy and spotty but nothing serious
So today I have:
Brushed and mopped downstairs and bathroom
Cleaned bathroom
Dusted and hoovered living room and also wiped down the to stand (black glass and dusting wasn't cutting the mustard!)
Dusted and hoovered bedroom and landing and stairs.
Also washed the pillows and did a dark wash. And the front door mat.
Tomorrow I will:
change the bed and wash the bedding
Do a whites wash
Going to try and keep the weekend as free as possible so I can concentrate on snuggling with dd!

It's amazing what you can get done without a toddler, dog or husband distracting you isn't it celeste?!

I'm not moving yet though, caffeine is needed!

So far i have:

• wiped basin, loo, bleached downstairs loo
• put some washing in the machine
• emptied bin

Got a few more things i want to do before Mum comes round later to look after ds whilst we go to the pub to watch the rugby

Received online shop and put away. (Yep my list will be rubbish if I don't add in basic things!)
Went to shop to get milk (date was awful on online one!) and moving in present for my cousin

Took Ralph for a walk
Just doing bedtime routine then will tidy kitchen.

Well yesterday I did eventually finish the pots, I stripped and remade the 3 dcs beds and did lots of washing

Taking me a good whilst to stop feeling sick this morning and I'm having to move slowly

• take the kids for a bike ride to the park

• empty all bins and put out the front for collection tomorrow

I'm still struggling. Managed to eat a cracker and on cup of tea 2 hopefully can move after this

Take it easy fresh

Didn't make it back here yesterday before going to the pub to watch the rugby but before Mum came i tidied our bedroom, tidied ds bedroom, and wiped the upstairs bathroom. We then came back and had curry take away

Todays list:

• strip beds and put bedding in the wash
• put fresh bedding on beds
• do another load of washing
• general tidy up
• make tea
• maybe do some ironing this evening

I've been keeping bits ticking over while we had visitors - I managed to get to the bottom of my washing basket yesterday, hurrah!

Today I have:

Washed the spare bedding
Hoovered and swept
Washed the dishes from breakfast and lunch
Folded clean clothes and washing
Made the bed
Cleaned the bathroom
Put a tumble on

Went to garden centre with DH and bought a few plants, so popped these in the front garden pots to spruce them up a bit.

DH is going to:

Put the clothes and towels away
Hoover the soil spill in the living room (oops)
Put the old twigs and other assorted winter crap from the garden in the garden bin

Well I've changed the towels but they aren't washed yet. Just put them in! Done a dark wash and its in the dryer. In sad news I think my dryer might be on its last legs :( walked the dog so he's happy!

• take back joggers bought for dd3's residential and find some with a drawstring waist (if anyone can help with ideas of where to get these that would be great, she's really skinny and the ones I bought from Asda just fall straight down!)
