New cleaning thread

Christmas decorations are down here.

Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Okay:

Clean windows done
Make bed done
Put away clean clothes done

Still need to do the dishes and hoover the stairs.

Working up to tackling a bit more of the baby's room.

I made my bed

I washed half the pots

Now I have stopped
I'm very hungry this morning
I think I need more food

Slow start again here this morning. All I've done is shower and get dressed, bathe the toddler and tidy the beds. I've not much to do tbh, just the breakfast dishes, put away a few bits of clothes that couldn't go in the dryer and put some washing on. I should do it now whilst the kids are all entertained but that means moving...

OK so I've nearly finished the pots (just in time for dinner)

I've cleared and wiped down two kitchen worktops
Tidied and hoovered the living room
And emptied the dryer

Not a very nice day here, cold and blustery so we've been stuck indoors.

I have:
made beds
washed dishes
quick wipe over bathroom + bleached loo
polished and dusted
hoovered downstairs
quick wipe over and bleached downstairs loo

Need to:
make tea
general tidy up

Afternoon everyone. I've done my morning list and also been and done my sister's cleaning. This afternoon's list is:

• put washing into dryer
• fold and put away washing when dry
• make a steak pie for tea
• clean and mop upstairs bathroom

I can't think of anything else that needs doing for now. I'll go make the pie whilst dd3 is still sleeping.

Not much to do here either.

Did the dishes and Hoovered the stairs.

Going to clear out the baby's room tomorrow.

Will make a move soon and get something ready for tea.

Clothes now in the dryer and pie made and waiting in the fridge. My list for this evening is:

• make tea
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen
• fold and put away washing when dry
• get older two girls to shower and dry their hair
• clean and mop upstairs bathroom (I forgot that was on today's list)

Almost done for the day:

• make tea done
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen

Just need to give dd3 her meds and get her ready for bed, dry both girls' hair and put toddler's toys away then I can relax.

• bathe toddler
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen

• sweep floors downstairs
• dust bedrooms
• clean interior windows and all mirrors
• empty all bins around house
• check to see if litter tray needs cleaning
• go to sainsburys for Vimto, almond milk and fruit pouches
• clean inside of microwave (someone made soup and it exploded)

I need some accountability! I work full time and have an 18month old and a dog :) due my second baby in May as well. Everything tends to pile up to the weekend. This week I have made such an effort to make sure I don't have all my jobs to do at once! (Even came home in my lunchtime and hoovered!)
So tomorrow's list:
Clean bathroom
Dust and Hoover living room
Sort out cutlery drawer (trying so sort out a small thing each day off so I can get organised before this baby comes)
Test out cream cleaner on window sill (having house painted in a couple of months so don't want the manky Windows to show it up!)
Walk the dog
Make tea
And obviously entertain a young child whilst attempting to keep the noise down as her dad will be in bed after night shift! Wish me luck!

I've made a slow start this morning and have stripped all 5 beds, the first load of covers is washed and in the dryer, the second load are in the washer. That's all I've managed so far, I need to give myself a kick up the arse! The kids are eating breakfast now so I'll jump in the shower and get dressed as I think sitting around in my pjs encourages me to be lazy!

Well I've cleaned the bathroom, sorted the cutlery drawers, emptied the dishwasher and done the handwashing and wiped down the sides. Not really sure when I am going to have chance to Hoover the living room as husband is in bed and when he gets up it'll be nighttime routine for my little girl. I will dust it though. Just waiting for her to finish her snacks then I'll do that. It's pouring down here so will have to take a rain check on the cream cleaner and walking the dog. Do need to pop to the shop for leeks as I forgot them in the delivery.

Evening all!

Today we have:

Almost cleared out baby's room
Made the bed
Washed all the blankets/clothes we've been given
DH has taken a boot full of rubbish to the dump
Been for the weekly shop
Swept the floors
Washed the dishes
Folded and put away clean clothes
DH has made a list of everything we still need to get for baby
I've folded the clean baby clothes and put them in the tallboy
DH put more things in the attic
I've cooked a roast chicken
Cleared away and wiped down kitchen after dinner
Tidied round the sitting room
DH cleared out the litter boxes

Tomorrow I need to:

Dust/polish
Clean bathroom fully

Now we are sitting our bums choosing a film on Netflix and about to have pudding

So I dusted but didn't have time to Hoover living room. And I did go shop and make tea just tidied and put dishwasher on etc.
Tomorrow I haven't got a huge amount to do so might take my lg to the soft play centre.
So tomorrow:
Empty dishwasher
Put wash on and dry put away
Sort underwear drawer (but might do that before I go to bed...depends how I feel!)
Think I might need to brush and mop AGAIN
Make dinner

Yesterday I did very little

Just felt so shit

• fold and put away last load of covers from yesterday which are in the dryer
• take kids swimming
• iron uniforms
• washing
• fold and put away clean washing
• cook a roast
• empty all bins and put out the front for collection tomorrow

OK so far I've

Washed most pots
Put on a wash and a dry load
Picked up toys in living room

All DC are fed and dressed and I've had several decaf cups of tea and some toast

Now I need to get dressed

I have some errands to run , kids have homework to do , house is a general pig stye

Morning. Hope you are feeling better fresh!
I woke up feeling crap (didn't sleep well) but lovely dh got our daughter up and dressed and gave her breakfast and emptied dishwasher after he got in off night shift.
I've put a wash on and brushed and mopped. Done the handwashing and wiped down the kitchen. Going to go for a walk in a bit assuming weather stays dry. This afternoon I'm off to see the in laws so hopefully the house will be nice and quiet for my dh!

Washer emptied into dryer
Dry clothes sent to the right rooms
DC are tackling their room
Sorting through piles of clothes in my bedroom now

Beds tidied, clean bed covers are folded and put away, breakfast cooked, eaten and cleaned up after, I'm going to jump in the bath and de-fuzz then take the kids swimming and I'll stick some washing in before we go.

Washer has been reloaded
Kitchen worktops cleared and wiped
Table wiped
Bins empty

Next

Empty the dryer
Put away pots
Make DC lunch

2nd load of washing in dryer 3rd in washer. 1st load looking sorry for itself-can't out away as dh is in bed!
Dd having lunch. Separated bread stuff and froze in portions. 3rd load of handwashing done (why so much when I have a dishwasher?!) walked the dog. Going to go to the in laws just now then I'll prepare tea when I come home. Got all the ingredients out ready.
