Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Nothing worse than lack of sleep Kim.

Today i have washed dishes, made beds, hoovered all rooms, dusted and polished downstairs, put some washing on, tidied up. Need to make tea now.

Wow Fresh, congratulations! I hope you're not feeling too ropey, those early weeks are so draining aren't they?

I'm still feeling ill and achey with this horrible cold but at least I managed a good 10 hours of sleep last night. I've plenty to do today though as the house has been neglected. I'll start with small lists and once they're done do antler list otherwise I'll just over face myself today I think, I don't have much energy still.

Anyway, first list is:

• strip beds
• remake beds
• wash covers
• fold and put away clean washing in basket
• dust bedrooms
• get rid of all laundry that is folded on the stairs

That'll do for now. Brew first though.

I am just up and getting some breakfast...

Then I just have a few bits to do before we start moving the first of the furniture.

I'm actually doing jobs, it's a miracle! I think when I've been posting those massive lists whilst not feeling great it has put me off but small amounts seems do-able.

• get rid of all laundry that is folded on the stairs

Just off to sort out the washing on the stairs.

Washing on stairs sorted and cot covers bagged up ready for charity shop and the girls are dusting the bedrooms. Just the beds to remake now.

More jobs done plus a few that weren't on the list:

Right, toddler is asleep so next list is:

• tidy hall
• sweep and mop hall and living room
• shower and get dressed (lazy moo)
• clean and mop downstairs bathroom
• sort out the big cushions on the back of the sofa

Quick stop for a snack and a drink then I'll carry on.

Wow Kim!

Our freezer defrosted so I've had to clean it out and bin everything.

Either DH left it open last night or the cat pulled it open

• clean cat litter tray done
• clean cat food trays done
• get rid of all crap off kitchen table and wipe it down done
• put big shopping bags back in car boot done
• put cover back on cot mattress and put upstairs done

• mop kitchen done
• more washing 4th load in washer, 3rd in dryer
• fold and put away next set of clean sheets done

I'm showered and dressed and about to take the kids to the park. Dh has loaded up the car with hoards of stuff and taken it to the charity shop.

I'll give myself another little list when I get back from the park.

Today we have done the weekly food shop, i have made the beds, tidied up, done some washing. No very much to be honest but the house is looking ok

Okay, back from the park (and pissing freezing!). I need to:

• give dh a lift to his friend's house
• take the kids to McDonalds (can't be bothered cooking)
• bathe toddler
• make myself something for tea and clean up afterwards (I so want a McDonalds but the diet doesn't allow - boohoo)
• feed cats

Since my last post i have emptied the bins, tidied ds room, made tea and bathed ds. DH has washed up and wiped the kitchen. He is now reading ds bedtime story. I just need to do another quick tidy up then put my feet up. Gone 3 days now without bleach down the loos after my dh's challenge to go for a week without sat on the loo reading the bottle of harpic whilst watching over ds in the bath

Toddler bathed, cats fed, cups from earlier on washed, dried and put away, toddlers toys put away, just waiting for her to finish her milk then she can go to bed and I can relax (as long as the other 3 dc remain amused upstairs...).

Dh is out overnight tonight so I get to starfish in my lovely clean bed all night - I can't wait!

I love a bit of starfishing!

We have moved most of the furniture and will spend tomorrow ripping up the old carpet and DB is going to put the underlay down for us so that the job on Monday should be quick!

Have also done the tea, washed the dishes and cleaned the bathroom.

I'm off to bed now....night all!

Morning everyone. Well, the star fishing in bed didn't happen. Dh decided to come home at 4.20am and bloody woke me up! I couldn't get back to sleep so have only slept for 4 hours last night. I am not amused! Luckily there isn't a huge amount of housework to do as I did most of it yesterday. All I need to do is:

• tidy beds
• make cooked breakfast
• wash dishes
• washing
• fold and put away clean clothes

That's it for this morning. I'll have another small list for tonight but nothing much.

Oh no Kim, how rude. Why did he come home and ruin it all for you?

Today i need to need to:

• wipe bathrooms (no bleach down loos tho )
• general tidy up

Evening all. I did all on my list and then cooked a roast, cleaned up afterwards, swept the kitchen floor and bathed dd3. Dd2 has just got out of the shower and dd1 is in there now so I will need to dry their hair but then that's me done for the day. Whoop!

Tomorrow morning's jobs:

• tidy beds
• wash breakfast dishes
• collect dirty washing from upstairs
• put washer on
• go to Slimming World

That'll take up all morning so I'll do another list for the afternoon when I get back. I'm definitely going to break up my lists in future as it helps my motivation. Just hope I can keep on top of the housework with the kids being at home all week!

Morning everyone!

The man arrived at 8 this morning and our laminate flooring is nearly done! Yippee!

So hopefully this afternoon can be spent putting everything back and admiring my lovely clean floor instead of my grotty old carpet!

Morning handbags, he's bloody good getting your flooring done so quickly! I only got up 30 mins ago after a horrible night with dd3 so haven't done anything on my list yet. I'm just sitting down with a brew first then I'll make a start.
