Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Morning.

List today:

• wash dishes done
• dettol kitchen tops done
• make beds
• wipe bathroom basin
• wipe loo
• bleach loo
• general tidy uo

Only a small list today. The house is actually looking fairly decent right noe.

Hi everyone. I'm determined to get sorted today and start the new year with a clean, tidy house. I need to:

• tidy beds
• dust bedrooms
• Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
• mop upstairs bathroom
• wash dishes and wipe over worktops
• dust living room
• sweep and mop downstairs
• clean downstairs bathroom
• clean all windows
• write shopping list
• go to Aldi
• couple of loads of washing
• fold and put away clean clothes
• clean sister's house this afternoon

Feeling smug with myself. Will no doubt need another tidy up later in the day though.

I forgot about cleaning the windows so I'll do that once the toddler climbs off my knee.

I got drenched when I was shopping so I've had a shower and am now in my pjs which is how I intend to spend the rest of the day.

All I have left to do is dry my hair, tidy the baby's toys away when she goes to bed and fold and put away the washing when it's dry.

Takeaway for tea tonight for me, the kids and my sister (dh is going out) so I can relax now.

We have visitors tomorrow so we've vacuumed, tidied, done the bins (big deal as we missed recycling two weeks ago and we still have black sacks not a wheelie bin...) Now we're watching James Bond with a candle lit to make the place smell nice. Xmas decorations down on Saturday....

Happy New Year to all of you

Yesterday I tidied and hoovered my bedroom, put away my clothes etc

So far this morning I've squashed a million cardboard boxes into my bin, lobbed some old stuff in the shed, put the washer on and half washed pot mountain

Good morning and Happy New Year. I don't have much to do today as I did most housework yesterday. All I need to do is:

• tidy beds
• wash breakfast dishes and wipe down worktops
• make lunch and clear up afterwards
• fold and put away clothes that are in the dryer
• tidy baby's toys when she goes to bed

I think that's it really. Nice lazy day here. I might strip and remake Ds' bed to get a head start for tomorrow as he is at his dad's tonight.

I have taken down all the Christmas decs and swept and cleaned the living room and lit the wood burner as living room was freezing this morning!
Tidied our bedroom.
Tidied up the kitchen and cleaned out the fridge.
Sorted the recycling.
Brought in more logs.

To Do
Laundry
Menu planning
Get Ds to do thank you letters.
Wash ds's bedding and dust his room.

But quite frankly too knackered to do much more than watch Dr No right now!!

Ended up going out for a good chunk of yesterday so didn't get much done

Just finishing my brew and then I'll crack on

Today we tackle xmas decorations. And put stuff in the attic (trying not to fill it with junk). Could do with another kull of kids clothes.....

• nip to Aldi
• put in repeat prescription request at GP
• bath baby before she gets dressed (she had her usual one last night but then spilt her milk in her hair overnight which has dried and is hard and horrible so needs another one)
• take dd1 to spend some Christmas money

I can't be bothered moving just yet though so all jobs can wait!

Hi all. I didn't get anything done yesterday. Felt very hungover and feeling sorry for myself.

Today i have:

• washed dishes
• dettol'd kitchen tops
• made the beds
• cleaned the bath
• cleaned the bathroom basin
• cleaned and bleached the loo
• put new bathroom towels out
• mopped the bathroom floor

To do:

• polish and dusting
• wipe down skirtings (maybe)

Hi, I still haven't done any cleaning yet and dd1 has asked me to watch the second hunger games film with her so I am sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea. I'll get started after the film...

Afternoon! Had a productive morning despite a terrible nights sleep.

So far I have:
Cleaned the kitchen and steam mopped the floor ( twice actually as the dog sneaked in before dh could catch him!)
Laundry- one load on,one load in drier.
Scooped poop and hosed and brushed down the patio.
De-cluttered and tidied Ds's room.
Cleaned all the bathrooms.
Put recycling out.

Finish menu plan and schedule Sainsbury delivery.
Hoover stairs and landing ( Hoover on charge right now)
Dust lounge( mostly because we have friends coming this pm and I love the smell of Method wood polish!!)*
