New cleaning thread

Christmas decorations are down here.

Yesterday deep cleaned living room, today will do the kitchen

Okay - back at work now!

Today have:

Made bed
Made packed lunches
Done food shopping
Cooked dinner
Wiped down kitchen surfaces
Put a washing on
Put a load in the tumble dryer

House is looking okay...let's see how long this lasts!

Earlier list:

• wrap niece's birthday present and go round and give it to her done
• make tea and clean up after done
• do cold wash done and hanging up to dry
• fold and put away clean clothes done
• bath baby done
• make sure kids do homework done

Tomorrow's list:

• tidy beds
• wash dishes and clean kitchen
• laundry
• fold and put away clean clothes
• sweep and mop floors downstairs
• dust living room
• clean downstairs bathroom
• clean upstairs bathroom
• pick up prescription from chemist
• take baby to toddler group

I'm not living up to the standards set here !

Meeting after work so didn't get home until 10pm. But I did go to tesco on the way home to get easy food for DH and DS1+2 as I'm away with work Friday until Sunday pm.

Laundry baskets full - I'll put a load on before I leave tomorrow.

All cleaning has gone to hell. My back gave out this pm and I'm currently waiting for diazepam to work its magic on the spasms and clock watching til I can take more pain Meds.
Despite being organised and cleaning daily this week somehow house feels a mess:(((

Bugger bugger bugger..... Just when I was starting to get somewhere with being more organised with cleaning and tidying.

Most royally pissed off

Didn't do very much yesterday - cooked tea and put a tumble on.

Today's list:

Collect parcels from town and post office - done
Make bed done
Take bin bags to charity shop done
Put on a washing done
Tumble washing - on as we speak...
Fold and put away clothes
Hoover
Sell stuff on eBay - done
Clean bathroom
Make tea

Got DH on dish washing, sorting recycling and putting bits in the attic.

Jobs for tomorrow:

Clean oven
Clear out more stuff from baby's room
Cook chicken casserole for tomorrow and Monday's tea
Make beds
Wipe down bathroom

Having a break just now, eating chocolate and watching Luther....

Morning. Back on it today. I need to:

• 2 loads of washing (whites and towels)
• fold and put away clean washing
• iron uniforms
• cook a roast
• take girls to retail park to spend yet more Christmas money and buy toddler a booster seat for kitchen table as she's not keen on her high chair.

It's bloody hot in my house for some reason!

Right - baby kicked all night so hardly got a wink of sleep!

Tidied clutter in the bedroom
Cleared more stuff from baby's room

Done for today - DH is going to do tea dishes and I plan to have a bath in my nice squeaky clean bathroom tonight

Back improving so managed to
Hoover our room and the landing. Laundry washed dried ironed and put away.
Kitchen was clean and tidy but then did load of baking so bit messy now! Will sort it before bed!

Morning everyone. A few things on my list today:

• go to retail park
• fill in Ds' bus pass form
• go to post office
• pick up my prescription
• go to asda or a few bits

Cleaned all the bathrooms, steam mopped kitchen floor. Laundry washed and dried/drying.
Dog walked, Sainsburys delivery put away and fridge wiped out.

Cleaned the the kitchen and Ds did the recycling.

I'm feeling like the lazy sod I think I am.

Today:
Took car to garage for MOT and service
Went to work
Picked up kids
Got home, found supper in the freezer
Found Tuesday and Wednesday's dinner in the freezer
Cooked
Went to Pilates (7:30pm)
Came home
Went to bed (10pm)

I will strip beds tomorrow maybe....

Things are beginning to slip...DH had a half day at work and was left a list of things to do. Surprise surprise I've just got home and none of it has been done!

So list for tonight is:
Wash last night's dishes
Fold up clean clothes and put away
Tidy the crap left lying in the sitting room
Make the bed
Tidy the bathroom
Make the tea

Okay, have pulled myself together.

I'm just about to fold and put away the clean washing and apart from that and the hoovering when baby wakes up I'm done. Whoop!

All washing now folded and put away. I didn't do the hoovering so that gets bumped to tomorrow's list which is:

• washing (if there is any, there isn't enough for a full load of anything atm)
• take dd1 to pick up new glasses after school
• take dd1's top back to Next as it is far too big

I think that's everything. I might nip to sainsburys at some point for some more fruit pouches for the toddler if I can be bothered but it's not urgent, it can wait a few days yet.

Most UN-motivated today
Did laundry and swept and mopped the hard floors downstairs but that's it. Then sat on my arse watching box set of The Good Life
Must try harder tomorrow!
Oh I did bake a cake and sort the recycling too ( big woop!)

Right - have managed to keep the house looking acceptable this week. Although I did cheat and we had a takeaway for tea last night so fewer dishes to wash!

Tonight's jobs:

Am a bit peed off with DH as he has been doing sod all to help this week - saying he'll do a job and then it sits there for 3 days until I get pissed off and do it myself.
