Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

Didn't manage to do all jobs as dd3 has been horribly clingy all day. I did manage:

  • strip and remake other 3 beds done
  • wash uniforms done
  • fold and put away clean washing done
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen done
  • sweep and mop downstairs
  • clean upstairs bathroom
  • empty bins done
  • dust living room
  • dust bedrooms done
  • wrap secret Santa present
  • help dd2 with homework done
  • tidy toys away in living room done

Dd3 the cried until I lay with her and she fell asleep. Im on sofa with ds1 who has earache watching peter rabbit and hoping he will settle back down!

  • sweep and mop floors downstairs swept, will mop tomorrow
  • dust living room done
  • wrap and post secret Santa present need to replace the chocolate I ate Blush
  • take dd3 to playgroup done
  • washing done
  • fold and put away clean clothes done
  • clean upstairs bathroom done

I also went to sainsburys to stock up on all things menthol as Ds, dd1 and dd3 are full of a cold and I also took the kids swimming as they've been mithering to go for days. All done for the day thankfully!

Yep, I'm here. I've hardly done any cleaning yesterday and today though as baby is ill yet again! She's just gone to bed so I've cleared the living room and swept the kitchen floor. She's still awake atm, I can hear her over the monitor but if she actually goes to sleep I plan on:

  • wash dishes and clean kitchen
  • sweep and mop downstairs floors
  • washing one load just finished, will put in dryer and put a load of towels on in a min
  • go to aldi as I didn't get there yesterday
  • buy and write Christmas cards
  • start wrapping some Christmas presents
  • fold and put away clean washing

Whilst typing this she has gone very quiet so it's looking like she's finally asleep! Horay! I'd better get my backside in gear and start cleaning while I can.

I am now eating cake and procrastinating.

Dh is home from work now though so once my cake has gone I'll get myself off to Aldi.

Still haven't been shopping. I decided to do some present wrapping instead. I've run out if wrapping paper now though so will have to pick some more up when I go shopping.

Just off to fold the clean clothes that are sitting on the kitchen table then I'll mop the floors.

I've finally wrapped the secret Santa present and have written all my Christmas cards too. Yay!
