Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

Tomorrow's list:

  • tidy beds
  • iron uniforms
  • wash dishes and clean kitchen
  • laundry
  • fold and put away clean clothes
  • clean upstairs bathroom
  • take baby to playgroup
  • pick up hoodie for dd1
  • wrap and post secret Santa present
  • buy, write and post Christmas cards

  • buy Christmas presents for grandad and uncle (any ideas for uncle would be greatly appreciated!)
Kim82 · 03/12/2015 08:55

Morning everyone. I'm not sure how much I'll manage to get done today, the baby is in a horrible, clingy, crying mood and I don't feel great myself. I've ironed the uniforms so far today and that's it. We're having snuggles under a blanket and watching peppa pig for now. Looks like I may be here a while.

I've also remembered I'm meant to do my sister's cleaning today too so I doubt I'll have time to go and do any Christmas shopping. Never mind, cuddly day on the sofa it is.

Well, today has been a bit of a write off. Toddler was being a grumpy arse and wouldn't nap so I got us ready to go to playgroup but my sister rang just as we had our coats on to leave so we went there instead. She is now asleep in bed but I just can't be bothered doing anything so I'll leave it all for tomorrow instead as it's Dh's day off so he can help!

Jw35 · 03/12/2015 14:21

I need this thread!

Major motivation issues at the mo, with 11 month old dd, 12 year old dd and 5 weeks pregnant. I'm shattered!

Today I've been to toddler group and left the house in a tip. The baby has only been in her cot 20 mins and I need to get off my butt! I've done the same load of washing 3 days in a row!

Things to do today:

Put washing in dryer
Put more washing on them hang it up when finished
Clean kitchen
General tidy downstairs
Surface clean lounge
Prep dinner

Just doing that much will help!

shutupandshop · 03/12/2015 19:31

No wonder your shattered jw!

Right, I WILL get stuff done tomorrow. If I blitz everything them I'll have the weekend with just minimal jobs to do.

Tomorrow's list:

  • tidy beds
  • wash dishes and clean kitchen
  • sweep and mop floors downstairs
  • clean upstairs bathroom
  • Hoover everywhere
  • laundry (I've got loads, it's all built up again)
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • clean sister's house
  • take baby to either playgroup or swimming dependent on when she naps
  • empty bins
  • wrap and post secret Santa present

I think that's all the essentials, I'll add any more as I think of them.

Kim82 · 04/12/2015 13:27

Good afternoon everyone. I've spent the morning mooching around shops with dh so haven't managed much cleanings yet but so far:

  • tidy beds done
  • wash dishes and clean kitchen
  • sweep and mop floors downstairs
  • clean upstairs bathroom
  • Hoover everywhere
  • laundry (I've got loads, it's all built up again) 2nd load in, first load in dryer
  • fold and put away clean washing
  • clean sister's house done
  • take baby to either playgroup or swimming dependent on when she naps went for a walk round shops instead
  • empty bins done
  • wrap and post secret Santa present

I'd better crack on with the kitchen...

Kim82 · 04/12/2015 14:24

I didn't manage to do the kitchen, just as I got up to do it dd3 woke up from her nap - typical!

I have just hoovered upstairs though, just the actual stairs and living room rug to do. I've also put the last load of washing in, there isn't a full load of anything else after these towels - my kitchen table looks like a jumble sale though as I've been throwing all the clean, dry stuff on there! I'll bring it all into the living room and fold it all now...

Kim82 · 04/12/2015 16:08

Kitchen now cleaned, three loads of washing folded and put away, one more in the dryer and I have put dd3's pillow in the washer as she has spilt her formula on it and it bloody stinks!

I still need to clean the bathroom but I'll do that whilst dd3 is in the bath, floors still need sweeping and mopping, I'll do that after tea and I'll hoover the stairs and rug when dh gets back so he can hold the toddler while I do it. I have a few Christmas presents to wrap tonight too so I'll do the secret Santa present at the same time and post it out tomorrow.

Better go and make a start on the steak pie for tea.

Kim82 · 04/12/2015 16:08

I'm aware I'm talking to myself today btw, it just makes me keep going if I post on the thread! Grin

You're on a roll this morning FreshStart!

All I've done is get the girls to strip their beds and put the covers in the washer. I've eaten plenty toast and had lots of cups of tea though...

Struggling to get motivation to move this morning...

afreshstartplease · 05/12/2015 10:17
