Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

I am now sitting on the sofa with dd 2.7 who has been demanding a cuddle for a good twenty mins

I'm going to sneak off soon though too much to do

They're from on antenatal group, we got chatting on here then moved to Facebook. A few are staying at mine, others are staying in hotels and we're having a big meet up involving food and alcohol. I can't wait!

I picked up some winter spice christmassy bleach in sainsburys yesterday that i'm looking forward to putting down the loo. How sad is that?

Yeah i noticed it in Sainsbury's yesterday. The wrapping looks christmassy which was enough to divert me from my usual domestos. Fully expecting it to smell like bleach still though!

I would have sniffed it by now lol

put some washing on
Wiped bathroom basin

Bleached loo

Need to do another load of washing and general tidy up.

We're going out Penguin, my house isn't big enough to host everyone.

I've managed to get a few more jobs done:

• wash, wipe and put away breakfast dishes done
• strip remaining 4 beds done
• remake beds done
• wash a load of darks in dryer, bed covers in washer
• fold dry washing and put it away
• quick swizz round with a duster in all 3 bedrooms and the living room bedrooms done, will do living room in a minute
• Hoover bedrooms, stairs, landing and living room rug done
• deep clean upstairs bathroom done, just needs mopping
• sweep and mop downstairs
• empty all bins around the house done
• put new shower curtain up done
• put out fresh hand towels in the bathrooms done
• put new cover on ironing board done
• buy a new bra done
• buy bread rolls and WINE! done
• pack baby's bag ready for overnight stay at MIL's

I've now had a bath (which ended up being shared with the baby), she's now finally in bed so I need to fold and put away the dark washing I did earlier then sweep and mop the floors downstairs. I can then have some lunch and dry my hair. Almost done...

Whoop, all done. I can relax now and wait for my guests to turn up. I hope you all have a good day, I'll no doubt be back again tomorrow...

Easy day here housework wise, I'll hopefully fit in another 2 loads of washing (I have a bit of a backlog as I didn't get much washing done this weekend) but that's all I have to do apart from making tea. Dd is in bed where she should be for the next hour at least so I'm going to dry my hair then drink tea and eat biscuits!
