Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

I've been lurking on here for ages, I find all of your lists strangely soothing, possibly displacement for never managing to get to the end of my own list because I'm working full time and have a very clingy baby when I am at home. However, I've got 10 days off work out of the 20 left till the end of term, and then 2 weeks off at Christmas so I should be able to get a good amount done if I can motivate myself. So here goes with today's list:

Tidy husband's wardrobe (so I can use some spare space to store other things)
Laundry - darks, bedding & towels darks in machine
Put laundry away
Ironing
Washing up
General tidy up
Sort out clothes & bags for tomorrow morning
Empty bins

Hi everyone. I've had a nap refusing baby this morning - she finally went down 20 mins ago so I've had some lunch and am now about to get started properly on my list.

So far I have done some we asking (2nd load in machine, first in the dryer, I've tidied the beds and ordered baby's meds. I'm off to make a start on the kitchen...

Okay, just had a frenzied hour and have now done:

• iron uniforms done
• tidy beds done
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen done
• tidy living room done
• laundry 3rd load in washer, 2nd in dryer
• fold and put away clean washing done one load, more to come
• deep clean Ds' bedroom all surfaces wiped, windows, ledges and skirting boards cleaned, need to hoover
• deep clean my bedroom as above, and Hoover as baby asleep
• buy some of those magic sponge thingies to wipe marks off walls
• if I have time deep clean the stairs and landing - the walls are full of manky finger marks and the banisters need a good scrubbing. done half but was disturbing baby, will finish later
• if the weather is nice take baby to the park for an hour as she's been stuck in most of the weekend not managed
• go to Costco for cat food and bottled water
• nip to the shop for passata
• order baby's meds from gp done

• put new towels in bathroom done

• ironing ongoing

I've done pretty much all jobs on the list now, almost done for the day:

I've just finished cleaning all the stairs and banisters whilst I was watching TV. I'll do the banisters on the landing tomorrow.

• deep clean girls' bedroom
• clean banisters and skirting boards on landing
• clean out fridge
• write shopping list
• go to Aldi
• go to post office

I did pretty well with my list, particularly as I managed to fit in picking my son up from school and taking him for a treat and a separate nursery run to pick the baby up.

Its my baby 3rd Birthday today! Part of me is overjoyed to be getting past the toddler years and part of me is sad.

All jobs are done. The last load of washing is in the dryer, it should be finished in half an hour or so.

• fold and put away clean clothes
• deep clean the living room
• buy new shower curtain, toothbrush holder and ironing board cover (very exciting...)
• get info on a house from an estate agent for dd's homework

Can't think of anything else that needs to be done.

Dependent on how long the living room takes me (and if I can be bothered) I might make a start on deep cleaning the downstairs bathroom.

Morning all! Been missing for a while. DD3 off sick.

I also had to go into town to buy Ds some new school shoes as I noticed this morning that the sole is coming away on his old ones! Why he didn't tell me I'll never know, there's a bit gaping hole at the front where it has come away! Silly sod.

Just waiting for the baby to finish her lunch then I'll put her down for a nap, do the kitchen and make a start on the living room.
