Struggling to get motivated here after no sleep for the past few nights:

  • tidy beds done
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • dust living room
  • laundry washer on
  • fold and put away clean clothes
  • clean the massive streak of bird shite off the patio door window (bleurgh!)
  • clean out cat litter tray
  • sweep floors downstairs
  • carve pumpkins with the girls
  • empty bins done
  • get Halloween decs and decorate the house

baby has been asleep for over an hour now so I should get up and do something but sitting with a cup of tea in front of the TV with the kids sounds so much more appealing...

Kim82 · 30/10/2015 13:03

I've moved and done a few bits. Dh is home now too so he can watch the kids whilst I finish off:

  • tidy beds done
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen done
  • dust living room
  • laundry washer on
  • fold and put away clean clothes
  • clean the massive streak of bird shite off the patio door window done
  • clean out cat litter tray done
  • sweep floors downstairs done kitchen, living room and hall still to do
  • carve pumpkins with the girls
  • empty bins done
  • get Halloween decs and decorate the house they are currently spread all over the living room, will put up with the girls in a minute
cikecaka · 30/10/2015 13:04

All above done!

TO DO
DH lunch
Tidy hall
Hoover Hall and stairs

Kim82 · 30/10/2015 22:13

I did everything apart from dusting the living room (again!) today. I'm exhausted from lots of disturbed sleep and sitting up with the baby for almost 2 hours last night from 3am as her breathing wasn't great so I'm off to bed in a minute. She has seemed a little less croup-y today though so hopefully won't be too bad tonight.

Anyway, tomorrow's list:

  • strip all 5 beds
  • remake beds
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • mop floors downstairs
  • dust living room
  • laundry
  • fold and put away clean clothes
  • clean downstairs bathroom
  • Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
  • clean upstairs bathroom

Living room has been tidied, dusted, swept and mopped and the pile of clothes that was on the sofa has been folded and put away.

I'm just going to take the baby to play in the garden for half an hour before lunch as she has serious cabin fever after being stuck in for days. After that it's lunch then I'll make a start on the jobs that need doing upstairs.

  • strip all 5 beds done
  • remake beds done 4, one to go
  • wash dishes and wipe over kitchen done
  • mop floors downstairs done
  • dust living room done
  • laundry 5th(!) load in washer, 3 on the line outside, one in dryer
  • fold and put away clean clothes none dry yet
  • clean downstairs bathroom done
  • Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
  • clean upstairs bathroom

Will do the hoovering, remake last bed and clean upstairs bathroom when baby wakes up. All that'll be left to do then is fold and put away the mounds of clean washing once dry, then make tea and clean up afterwards. I also need to nip to the shop for some crisps and chocolate to eat in front of the xfactor tonight as I think dh is going out (yay!).

Kim82 · 31/10/2015 14:59

Bugger, just remembered I also need to tidy up the back garden after the little'un going wild out there earlier.
