Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

Morning. Another lovely morning here today. Loving these blue sky Autumn mornings of late even if it is getting a bit fresher. Heating has been switched on here the last few days.

Todays list:
wash breakfast dishes done
dettol kitchen tops done
do some laundry
make the beds
clean, bleach, and mop the bathroom
general tidy up
go to charity shop and drop off ds toys i sorted yesterday

I've got a migraine so very little will be done. Just need to fold about 4 loads of washing I did yesterday and cook dinner. DH won't be home till very late tonight so I'm on my own with my small children. I hate today.

Morning everyone. Another early start for me so I'm done already. Good job too as I'm shattered after a bad night with a teething baby.

• tidy beds done
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen

done

• do some laundry washer almost finished, will put in dryer in 10 mins
• iron dd's school jumper (still wet so can't do it tonight) done
• sweep and mop floors downstairs done
• clean downstairs bathroom done
• clean out one of the kitchen drawers done
• wipe inside the freezer done
• clean the patio windows done

Just waiting for the kitchen floor to dry then I'll make tea and toast and relax on the sofa while the baby is still asleep.

Should say today instead of that in the first line.

Ooh, it's been quiet on here today. I'm just thinking of tomorrow's list and typing it out while it's in mg head (I'm aware how sad this makes me with the fact I think about it the night before...)

Anyway:

• go to weightwatchers
• strip dd2 and Ds' beds, they're not home tomorrow night so I can make a head start
• remake beds
• tidy other beds
• wash dishes and wipe down kitchen
• do some laundry
• fold and put away clean washing
• clean upstairs bathroom
• clean out a drawer in the kitchen
• pack overnight bag for dd2
• dust living room
• clean windows downstairs

I don't think it's sad, Kim. I do that too when I'm on song. I find you very inspiring, even if I'm too tired to act on it right now!

Did all my chores today including taking stuff to charity shop. Then took ds to an impromtu afternoon at the soft play centre.

Hello everyone, thanks for the well wishes! Feeling a good bit better now after spending all day in bed thanks to MIL who felt sorry for me & took the kids :)

I'll get back on track tomorrow.

Managed to make dinner, wash up and wipe round the kitchen tonight but I'd bought a load of marking home so I've been doing that.

Morning everyone. After a godawful night of hourly wake ups I gave up and got up with the baby at 4.50am. Shattered but at least it means I've made a big dent in the cleaning already:

I got a friend over for a playdate with her dd at 10 today so not gonna be able to do my main task until after which is hoovering today.

My first list before she arrives:

MIL coming today to help in the house. So I am embarking on a day of tidying.

Toddler only let me get 5 hours of sleep last night so I have been in a major slump this morning. I think I need to join or I'm just going to sit on the sofa looking pissed off all day!

That's all for tomorrow as from lunchtime I am child free until Sunday afternoon and I intend to spend a lot of that time in the pub. Yay!

Yesterday my friend came over with her dd. ds wouldn't let her play with his cars lol but they had fun drawing with some crayons. I did all my list before they arrived and in the afternoon i managed to hoover the house. Did some ironing last night watching tv.

Today i got my mum and dad popping round so need to do a clean of the house this morning.

I need to:

• wash breakfast dishes
• dettol kitchen tops
• make the beds
• wipe over the bathroom and bleach the loo
• general tidy up and clear away the remaining pile of laundry in the lounge
• polish the lounge

I keep massively failing at being productive

Motivation please?

Just try to do a room everyday or just do one biggish chore per day like one day the hoovering the next the kitchen.

Morning, the last 3 days have been very very lazy days! I cannot operate without sleep I just shut down.

So today I need to catch up.

Laundry wash/dry/iron/put away
Hoover & dust living room
Fix the curtains which keep falling out of the rail
Make beds
Deep clean the kitchen
Make breakfast/lunch/dinner
Do dishes
General tidy up
Help DS build his block house

I need to:

• make the beds done
• wipe over the bathroom and bleach the loo
• general tidy up and clear away the remaining pile of laundry in the lounge

Gonna have a quick tea break.

OK I have emptied the bin, wiped the table, done the pots and had a sweep around the kitchen

I've had a really lazy morning so far watching films so I've had to force myself to get up off my arse! So far:

• wash dishes and wipe down kitchen done
• clean downstairs bathroom
• sweep and mop floors
• iron uniforms ready for Monday

And that's it so far. I've also done a load of dark washing which is now in the dryer and some bed covers are in the washer. I'm just about to go and remake the two stripped beds and then jump in the shower.
