Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

I've done nothing yet this morning apart from sit on the sofa and eat - not good for the diet! Baby has been in bed for an hour and will be up soon so I've no idea when I'll manage to get any housework done... Oh well, I'll see what happens later and it's not the end of the world if I have a housework free day and we have beans on toast for tea as I've not been shopping.

I might get some stuff done later but I'm just not in the mood today.

So today I have accomplished the following:
Bleached the kitchen
Dusted
Cleaned the toilet and bathroom (again)
Tidy up
Swept the lounge

All because I have a friend coming over mad dash!

Haha MrsP, the mad dash for visitors is always very productive.

I am still yet to move a muscle today. I'm just about to set off to my sister's to clean her house but I have touched mine at all today! Oh well...

Haha I'd rather clean someone else's house other than my own. I get irritated by having to clean up this place day in and day out because a certain 2 men of the place make a mess constantly!

Got everything done except the exciting part... Holidays. Even went out for 2 hrs to visit my nan.

Tomorrow's my big clean day so I'll do my list now.

Well, today didn't go very well, I just wasn't in the mood for cleaning our house! Plenty to add to tomorrow's list but what I did manage to do:

• tidy beds done
• wash breakfast dishes and wipe down kitchen dh did it
• sweep kitchen
• clean out fridge
• write shopping list
• go shopping
• do some laundry
• dust living room
• wipe down internal doors
• clean out another kitchen cupboard (3 down, 4 plus drawers to go...) dh did 3 of them
• go and do 2 hours cleaning at my sister's house (she's paying me - yay!) done

Looks like tomorrow will end up a busy day after getting hardly anything done today!

Total fail today. DD is poorly with a really nasty cold and very clingy/tearful. We managed Asda and put the shopping and laundry away together but that's it apart from all the normal routine stuff like making the bed, loading the dw and sweeping the kitchen floor. I'd planned to crack on with housework during her nap but I was so tired by then I sat down with a cuppa and didn't get back up! It's been a long day. Really must try and clean the bathroom tomorrow.

Oh no pointless, I hope your dd feels better in the morning.

I felt lazy having done none of my housework so I have just cleaned the fridge and written the shopping list for tomorrow.

So now tomorrow's to do list is:

• tidy beds
• wash breakfast dishes and wipe down kitchen
• dust living room
• couple of loads of laundry
• sweep floors downstairs
• wipe down internal doors
• go shopping
• clean out another kitchen cupboard
• Hoover bedrooms, landing and stairs

I can't think of anything else to add so I'll leave it at that for now.

Morning all.

I didn't make it back on here yesterday. I managed to blitz the kitchen which was my priority along with doing all the other daily chores. Then went out for a few drinkies last night with the girlies.

Today i'm getting my haircut in town. Whilst in town i also need to pay my car tax. My cleaning list today is:

• wash breakfast dishes
• dettol kitchen tops
• make the beds
• bleach the loo
• tidy ds's room and sort out through some old toys to take to charity shop to make room for the christmas deluge
• general tidy up

Annoying the postman came round when i was upstairs making the beds. I swear he only knocked once and must have dissappeared quickly. He's left a collection note for me to go and pick up a package in the sorting office. No idea what it is so i'll be adding that to my list in town.

Just come downstairs to get the bleach to do the loo. Why do i always feel i'm about to commit mass genocide of the germ world when i put bleach down the loo?

I've just cleaned the last cupboard out in the kitchen - just the 3 drawers to go now - yay! And I've scrubbed the downstairs internal doors, I'll do the upstairs ones and Hoover once dh is home to watch the baby. After that it's just another 2 loads of laundry to do and iron the uniforms for tomorrow.

I've decided not to do a list today because I get upset at the end of the day about what I've not managed to do. And I can't help not doing things since tiredness kicks in at about 3pm. It is what it is for now.

So today I have:

• washed and hung out a load of laundry
• cleaned the oven
• put dinner in the slow cooker
• folded a load of washing
• cleaned the kitchen

Have some groceries arriving soon so just need to get the dining room tidied for that. And then sort my spice drawer as DD2 keeps going through it and tipping out my herbs & spices.

Groceries arrived early. And I've done my herbs & spices. Might do a bit of cleaning/tidying around the ground floor.

Only done the washing today & made dinner. Two sick kids & now am not feeling well either. Early night for me I think.

All done so time to sprawl on the sofa in front of the TV.

Much better today. I have:
Swept kitchen and hall floors and washed the doormats.
Cleaned bathroom.
Made dinner and a big pot of soup.
Changed DD's bed.
Put another load in the washing machine which I will hang up before I go to bed.
Feel much better for doing just a little bit.

Okay, tomorrow's list:

• do some laundry
• iron dd's school jumper (still wet so can't do it tonight)
• sweep and mop floors downstairs
• clean downstairs bathroom
• clean out one of the kitchen drawers
• wipe inside the freezer

Good morning! Got the downstairs dusting done so just need to carry forward hoovering the stairs from yesterday.
