Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

Sounds like you've done more than you give yourself credit for BubsandMoo. It's tough going when you're in pain. You've made a good start so onwards and upwards.

I've just climbed into bed as dh is watching some shite on the TV downstairs with Ds so while it's in my head tomorrow's list is:

  • tidy beds
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe down kitchen
  • sweep and mop floors downstairs
  • clean downstairs bathroom
  • do a couple of loads of laundry
  • find docs needed by insurance company for when they take my car to be repaired
  • clean another kitchen cupboard
  • dust my bedroom
  • put cover back onto dd's car seat
  • fold and put away clean clothes
  • Hoover living room rug
MrsP777x · 11/10/2015 21:44

Tomorrows agenda:

Get the washing done.
Hoover - DH done it today but don't think he realises the Hoover goes all the way to the edge of the room. Bless him.
Clean bathroom.
Food shop - although I'm 33w and suffering with SPD and ds gets really fed up in the trolley.
Steam clean once ds has gone to bed.

I have great intentions the night before lol.

I must get up at 6am more often. All jobs that can be done are done and she's back in bed so time for a brew and TV.

Couple more to add:

penguinsarecool · 12/10/2015 09:37

Wow thats good going Kim I would have proudly put my feet up for the rest of the morning in your position lol.

My list today:

  • wash breakfast dishes done
  • dettol kitchen tops done
  • make the beds done
  • general tidy up
  • bleach the loo
  • some laundry first load on
  • hoover all floors

Just having a cuppa then need to pop down the shop for some milk and bleach. I'm sure there is something else i need to get aswell but can't think of it right now. Annoying me. It'll come to me once i get back home from the shop no doubt.

MrsP777x · 12/10/2015 10:38

I have tried to be productive but I have a 2 year old ds who insists that he needs to make a mess and throw his food on the floor whilst I'm trying to get changed. Or tip his drink everywhere, or go into places he shouldn't be. I cannot get anything productive done at all Angry

penguinsarecool · 12/10/2015 10:45

Been to the shop. Its a lovely day out there. Me and ds stopped off at the park on the way back from the shop. I want to blitz through these chores before lunch now and maybe go outside again in the afternoon.

My list today:

  • wash breakfast dishes done
  • dettol kitchen tops done
  • make the beds done
  • general tidy up done
  • bleach the loo done
  • some laundry 2nd load on, first load on the washing line
  • hoover all floors
BubsandMoo · 12/10/2015 11:53

Wow impressive going everyone!

I was up, washed, dressed, and fed myself & pets by 11, which is pretty good going for me at the moment. It felt miles better getting up to a straighter home :)

Today's plans:
Do a towel wash & fold/put away dry laundry
Hoover through
Washing up from last night and this morning
Clean kitchen surfaces & hob
Do next Kondo task- DVDs
Take the dog out - it's only a 15min walk to the nearest open space for her to run around but think we'll get the bus there to make it easier on me.

I booked myself a manicure for 4pm. As a treat Blush but also as I have physio tomorrow and self concious I have the same chipped polish as last week & I can't do it myself at the moment! Also gives me a target to aim for.

Kim82 · 12/10/2015 12:29

I've just been out and bought bread and milk. I also went to the retail park to find a bag for dd but couldn't see anything she'd like so I'll have to go into town later this week instead. I've also put the towels in the washer and the clothes in the dryer so I'm done for the day apart from making lunch (which I'll do in a minute) and tea and folding and putting away the clean washing I'm done for the day.

GrouchyKiwi · 12/10/2015 12:41

Getting things done today! Have just put a cake in the oven after being unable to resist the craving.

  • fold washing - done
  • wash load of whites - done, hung outside and another load on
  • tidy lounge - done
  • rinse nappies
  • clean toilets
  • tidy dining room
  • vacuum lounge and dining room - lounge done
- fold dry nappies
  • ironing
penguinsarecool · 12/10/2015 13:24

My list today:

  • wash breakfast dishes done
  • dettol kitchen tops done
  • make the beds done
  • general tidy up done
  • bleach the loo done
  • some laundry washing on the line outside. Ironing to be done this evening
  • hoover all floors done

Done as much as need to for the time being other than ironing but that will be done whilst watching the soaps this evening. Just has some lunch so we are now going to go to the library and get some new books for ds and make an excuse to get out and enjoy this weather. I thought we had the last of the nice weather but its back Smile

MrsP777x · 12/10/2015 13:41

Today's agenda:

Get the washing done. Done
Hoover - DH done it today but don't think he realises the Hoover goes all the way to the edge of the room. Bless him.
Clean bathroom.
Food shop - although I'm 33w and suffering with SPD and ds gets really fed up in the trolley. Done
Steam clean once ds has gone to bed.

Going to Hoover after some lunch and depending on how the hips are, take ds for a walk Smile

BubsandMoo · 12/10/2015 14:18

Everyone is cracking on!

I did laundry, which turned into a re-organise of my underwear drawer, cos I could do that sitting down and the end result made me very happy with everything folded so neatly.

Hoovered everywhere. Which means the whole flat feels lighter and smells lovely (essential oils on cotton wool in the dust bag - tip from dm!)

Towel wash is on and me & dog are on the bus to the woods. It is a lovely day out!

Pointlessfan · 12/10/2015 20:15

I'm not cracking on I'm afraid! Just managed to put a load of washing away and stick another lot in the machine and I have no more energy. Pleased washing is still drying on the line though.
Jobs for tomorrow:
Hang up washing
Vacuum downstairs
Clean bathroom
Weekly supermarket shop

MrsP777x · 12/10/2015 20:35

Is it really sad that I'm sat in the bath with the anti bac wipes ready to clean around me? Killing two birds with one stone Grin

Kim82 · 12/10/2015 20:42

Multitasking MrsP, I like it!

Tomorrow's list for me (I like doing it the night before so I don't waste time thinking about it in the morning and can get on with it straight away):

  • tidy beds
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe down kitchen
  • sweep kitchen
  • clean out fridge
  • write shopping list
  • go shopping
  • do some laundry
  • dust living room
  • wipe down internal doors
  • clean out another kitchen cupboard (3 down, 4 plus drawers to go...)
  • go and do 2 hours cleaning at my sister's house (she's paying me - yay!)
penguinsarecool · 12/10/2015 20:42

Sounds like multi-tasking so thats fine, as long as you are bathing with a rubber duck and not toilet duck lol

MrsP777x · 12/10/2015 20:46

Definitely multi tasking. Funnily enough I have a duck in here that lights up different colours... (Yes it's my sons but the colours are too pretty) Also it's lovely cleaning whilst being warm and soaking up the radox Wink

penguinsarecool · 12/10/2015 20:52

I love having a bath or bathing my boy after the bathroom has been cleaned Smile

MrsP777x · 12/10/2015 21:21

Husbands just got in the bath so if he messes the bathroom up there will be murder Grin
