Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

These are my permanent hours now, 4-7pm every weekend evenings but every other Friday, and yes I do feel like I've done a whole days work already ha.

My done list:
Hoovered
Dinner in slow cooker
Dish washer emptied and refilled
Been to town.

Off to my mum's soon as we have DD1's assembly and she's star of the week

Lasagne in oven, washing in machine and another load put away - good start to the weekend!

I didn't get round to cleaning the light switches and I can't be bothered now that I've sat down for the night. It's going onto tomorrow's list which is:

• Wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen
• dust living room
• sweep and mop floors
• clean light switches
• strip beds
• remake beds
• clean upstairs windows
• clean downstairs bathroom
• do a couple of loads of laundry
• fold and put away clean clothes
• make an appointment for girls' hair to be trimmed
• go to Costco
• clean the inside of at least one kitchen cupboard (going to start making my way through a couple a day til they're all done).

I just did the light switches apart from the one in the baby's room as she's asleep in there. One less job to do tomorrow.

Oh my god I am useless. Ended up working all afternoon anyway (From home). Did get to the carpet shop though.

The rest will have to wait till Monday now.

Wash another load of clothes and then change and wash bedding.
Empty and clean fridge.
Dust and vacuum house.
Mop floors.
Clean bathroom.
DH has already cleaned the kitchen - hooray!

Morning everyone, I've made a decent start this morning but am having a break for 10 mins. So far I've:

• Wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen done
• dust living room done
• sweep and mop floors done
• clean light switches done
• strip beds done
• remake beds remade 3, another 3 to go
• clean upstairs windows
• clean downstairs bathroom done
• do a couple of loads of laundry 2nd load of bed sheets in washer, first load hung out
• fold and put away clean clothes
• make an appointment for girls' hair to be trimmed
• go to Costco
• clean the inside of at least one kitchen cupboard (going to start making my way through a couple a day til they're all done).

Break over, I'm showered and have got a few more jobs done. Looking forward to relaxing this afternoon!

Right, because I'm a saddo and thinking of my todo list at 11.20pm on a Saturday night (and also because I can't sleep as dh is snoring like a pig next to me) tomorrow's list is:

• tidy beds
• wash breakfast dishes and clean kitchen
• go through girls room, sort through toys and sort some for charity shop/bin.
• get dh to get bags of clothes down from the attic and go through next size up clothes for baby and wash them all.
• iron uniforms
• clean and mop upstairs bathroom

I didn't achieve much of my list yesterday although I cleaned out and organised four kitchen cupboards

I can't get my arse in gear today, I'm not in a cleaning mood at all!

So fair I've:

Morning cleaners

Used to post on here with different name.

My flat is a pigsty. In my defence my physical & mental health problems have been pretty bad recently to the point where I've been blocking it all out and just doing the bare minimum to keep my pets fed and cared for, myself fed and washed/dressed to get out occasionally (signed off work atm). It wasn't too awful with the support of my partner, but he's been away for a week and Ive not been able to keep up, at all.

This morning (well, it's afternoon really isn't it) I've woken up and just feel enough is enough and I need to get on it. I want my flat to be nice again, by tomorrow night when dp is home.

So I've taken the highest doses of painkillers I'm allowed, so I can physically function better, and publicly stating my intention!

Made the bed and flung open the windows.
Now to do a rubbish & recycling sweep, gather everything up and make some trips down to the bins with it.
Baby steps!

Afternoon all.

I dont do much on a Sunday plus this is DHs first full weekend off in six months so we are making the most of it.

Got a lie in
Opened all windows
Made beds
Peeled potatoes & veg & got all ready for dinner later on.
Helped DD with more revision

Need to iron Uniforms
Do more laundry
Make dinner
DH does the dishes

Bubs been there know how you feel

Well emptied the rubbish and recycling, taken them down to the bins - it being a Sunday meaning I don't mind the neighbours seeing me do this in "lounge wear" (alright, they're pyjamas with a nice cardi on top).

Put some laundry on.

Now to tidy living room. But sitting on the sofa right now as aggravated an injury already so just waiting for the discomfort to subside.

I've finally got up off my arse and have done:

-tidy beds done

• go through girls room, sort through toys and sort some for charity shop/bin. won't be done today
• get dh to get bags of clothes down from the attic and go through next size up clothes for baby and wash them all. done
• iron uniforms done
• clean and mop upstairs bathroom started, cleaned all the tiles, the door and doorframe, have put bleach on the silicone round the bath so am leaving it for an hour then will finish the room

Bathroom is now done. Just remembered I was meant to be cleaning on kitchen cupboard per day too so I'll get onto that in a bit.

Got all the tasks done except the fridge, been out all day and I'm just too tired. Will try and do it on my day off.

Well done productive people

I haven't achieved much...battling pain and nausea but the kitchen looks clearer, things are a little tidier overall, and I have some clean clothes.

I've ordered some food, and going to carry on tomorrow, now I can see the wood for the trees slightly
