Dh has now helped me to do my Yahoo registration and I've had the e-mail registration confirmation from Yahoo. What happens next? Do you have e-mails direct from Flylady telling you what today's task is or do you have to go to the site and look? Any advice appreciated. TIA

I've just taken a look at your utility room and then at mine, asleep. Mine is a mess. I think that's a good place for me to start once I've finished in the kitchen and have showered and dressed. I can't do photos, though, sorry. I'm not technically minded, as you may have noticed.

Its supposed to be family fun day Ivor so you don't have to do much.

My DDs are off at their dads for the weekend though so I use it as a catching up day. Been at work all week so done nothing in the bathroom and can't today either coz DP and his dad are in there tiling & stuff!

Think I'll use today to catch up on washing. Really slipped this week though and can't even be bothered to do the washing up this morning. Just feel knackered! Dull weather not helping either - will have to tumble dry.

Thanks for the info, SKYTVADDICT. As I'm home today, I want to get lots done, so I'll follow my nose, I think!

Date night didn't happen. DH came home in a foul mood, was bloody horrible to DD (so we ran away to my mums for a bit), then I came back - FLYed my kitchen and lounge again, and took two syndol to beat the headache and passed out (with a shiney sink ).

I have finally put away the washing that has been taunting me all week, and have put another load in. Feeling brighter again... although still wanting to kill DH - miserable sod.

hello ladies! we are back from holiday and i do need a holiday
was nice but very exhausting!!! (came home a day early too due to rain yday)

and what do i discover?? a whole new thread???
not only busy in the house, eh?!

no family day for me (had enough all week!) so have done 3 loads of washing + drying and all folded and put away
dp did dishwasher
mil's staying for another night and did some folding of the washing - took all upstairs and folded it again, the way i like it

hoovered the lounge (inclusive 2 big spiders) and all bags are unpacked.

but i have to say it helps having mil over - not that she does much (she entertaines the kids which is fine with me!) but i try to get away and though i clean and tidy all the time

Ruby - dh and ds misunderstood me and so they bought the plimsolls. I can ask dh to help me to take a photo and put it on a members profile thread for you to see if they are the ones you meant. If not, no problem, I can return them as I work in town anyway. If they are the right ones, I can make arrangements with you to post them if you want me to. Let me know.

Right so now I have to admit to being thick as well as hopeless at housework. Joined FL on Thursday and had my welcome letter with the babysteps listed. Since then I have had 1 email per day with testemonials but nothing about what rooms to do etc. Have I done something wrong? I am waiting to get stuck in but dont know where to start? Can someone tell me where I have gone wrong pleeease!

Hello FLYers. I have had a soso day so far. xp1 did not turn up so its a good job I got this message on the phone or I would be wondering where the F* he is. Trying to tell ds1 that his dad is working when he thinks his dad does not work is hard. Though ds2 thought it was great that he did not have to go to his daddies. I took them to the park. We were going to have lunch at the park but the rain stopped that ds1 was not happy about that either. Been making cakes this afternoon so the kitchen will need cleaning later. So we have had sort of a family fun day. DC are playing and watching tv atm. dinner is cooking, its then bath and bed time for them. I will then set to and clean the kitchen.

had a nice day in that we went on a canal boat trip with dd and had dinner out, but my pregnancy hormones have been working overtime and i've been quite teary. Just blitzed the kitchen - very easy now it is clutter-free) and picked up dd's toys. had enough now.

Fixed my gate problem!
Made do-nuts,went to the park and town.DS2 got a puncture i fixed that when we got home.

DS1 upset me but I held back the tears! I don't blame him for saying he hates me and hates saturdays.Im pretty sure he doesn't mean it in a bad way he was just being stroppy when i tried to help him and i got frustrated with his 'I can't do it' Attitude!
Wouldn't blame him if he did hate me!

Anyway the house is a tip and I can't be bothered yet to tidy it.

Hi tortoise. I sure he does not hate you. It seems to be a new saying for DC at school now. I duun if it comes from some tv programme or not. When my ds1 cant get his way or I tell him things that he does not want to hear then the words "i hate you" come from him. I have had it loads today from him. I dont think it helps when hes with his dad. I sure xp1 tells him that I dont like him as I wont give him everything he want, but he does as he will let him. I think this as hds1 has said before, " daddy would let me do/have it" then I get the "I hate you" you after that. So you are not alone

did 4 loads of washing AND folded AND put away - very proud of myself
dinner cooked, eaten and everything clean and tidy again - even sink is shiny!!!

just got invited for a drink to my neighbours - so no more mess in my house for today (let's hope mil keeps her fingers to herself)

Just back in from work and had a lovely takeaway, my babysteps stuff is all in order so I might have a peek at Kelly's misson and do something else in the bathroom.

No mission for Saturday??

I was getting all geared up for a quick mission, I will check back and do one from earlier int he week I missed. Either that or I will haul out a few old bottles next time I go for a pee, if I do that every timre I go I will soon see a difference over the next couple of days.

Worked like stink today!
I have gutted my utility, washed the walls and rearranged it, got up to date with the shredding and flung a load of old paint pots etc. Is now respectable.
How come noone is about tonight? You don't do date night twice in a row do you?
