whoopee.

ParanoidAndroid · 15/09/2006 14:11

Jas - what about just picking ONE hotspot and spend 15 mins putting that out? Then you might feel like doing some more? It sometimes works for me.

asleep · 15/09/2006 14:12

suggestions:

  • clean out your cutlery drawer
  • look for food that's gone off
  • clean out your handbag
Flamesparrow · 15/09/2006 14:25

Go tidy a child's room for 15 mins.

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 14:33

I shined the sink and mopped the floor.
I've cooked tonights tea, and i will put away washing before the school run.
I'm going to do 15 mins hotspotting with the dds when they get home (I keep saying that and then don't, but this time I mean it!)

Afternoon FLYbabies. I have done loads of FLYing today. My bathroom is not big so it soon gets cleaned. So I done my back hallway today. Still got the paint xp2 and I got to paint the house with I want to move so I dont think I will be painting this house. I dunno how long paint will last. Its not been opened so I hope it will last a few months more yet. Just going to do the ironong now. Then I better get the DC in the bath. Dinner in already and just needs putting in the oven soon, just to finish it off I am feeling great today

singersgirl · 15/09/2006 17:25

DH and I went to IKEA today (fearful Vampire-repelling icon) to get a TV unit on castors to put our spare TV and video on (in our office). We also took a knackered desk, child's easel and old bin to the dump.

While we were in the blue and yellow place I got 3 new loo brushes for swishing and swiping in my 3 lovely toilets - that was my babystep for today.

We also got some drawer insert type thingies to try and organise DH's smalls!

So not much decluttering, but some organising.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 15/09/2006 18:04

Hi all.
I done a total of bugger all since post this morning.
11am the CAFCASS lady turned up(yes,i had forgotten she was coming). I hadn't done my hair and girls had been playing dressing up and chucked clothes all on floor.
We had to walk dd's upto their dad for contact then she walked home with me and stayed talking about the situation until 2.30 when girls got dropped home! Then i had to pick ds's up and she came back at 4.00 to see me with all the dc together!
Have cooked dc's tea but not mine.Im knackered!!!

hazelnuts · 15/09/2006 18:55

DD is now asleep Bed time for her now.

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 18:59

I like getting the go to bed one at 4am. It appropriate for me, as I could easily be still up then!

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 15/09/2006 19:07

I had plans for lots of FLYing Never even got the clothes put away because was talking to little bro.

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 19:08

I had plans, too....came to nothing though.

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 19:09

Idid buy a new mouse.

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 19:10

It's still in the box
It's arrival seems to be making the old one behave.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 15/09/2006 19:15

Lol @ behaving mouse!

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 19:17

FIL has just phoned to ask if he can come and stay tomorrow!. Best sort out this room(its the only one he can sleep in) as it is full of tools.

sorkycake · 15/09/2006 20:22

Hiya,
Well well well, do I detect a whiff of descension in the ranks?
FL will not be pleased methinks.
I've done bot all!
Been at work today and have worked out that my A/L allows me to finish work on the 15th December, until the bub comes, hurray!
Date night, pah! I have a huge cuppa tea and some G & B mint chocolate which is not lasting long. My date tonight is with the pooter, and I have to admit I've missed the crack today, so chat away ladies!

Skribble · 15/09/2006 20:24

I tried the uk group but aprt from an introductory e.mil I got nothing.

Tried this one so I will see what comes through, its UK timed and non religious.

Secular Flylady

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 15/09/2006 20:25

Well i managed to put dd2's clothes away before putting them to bed! Will do dd1's tomorrow!

God date night is pointless!! Unless you have a nice dp i guess!

Skribble · 15/09/2006 20:25

Kelly's mission gives me something to do before bed as the top of my cistern is full of stuff as is shelf above sink, sink and bath shiney though.

Might even get rid of the basket of dead plants that is lurking.

Skribble · 15/09/2006 20:27

PS secular flylady has just started up so might be a few teething problems.

notquitegoodenough · 15/09/2006 21:03

Hi

is there room for a fairly crap mum sick of living in a fairly crap house

BarefootJasnem · 15/09/2006 21:06

You're welcome here.
You can say your house is crap(mine is too) but you are not allowed to say you are a crap mum.
Tired, stressed, anxious, run down, overwhelmed.... but not crap

notquitegoodenough · 15/09/2006 21:08

believe me I am crap

Im hoping that I can adopt these babysteps to all areas of my house, children and mind.
