That's the one. I really fancy him Blush not sure it's going anywhere though as was meant to see him this weekend when I didn't have the dc but he asked if we could postpone. So not sure if it was a total brush off or not. Time will tell.

Feel really woozy today, was planning to get loads done but so far have only dealt with the cat tray and pulled up a few dandelions from front garden. Totally not with it!

JKSLtd · 04/09/2011 21:04

Everyone ready for school tomorrow? :)

I will be back listing with a vengeance....

FreakoidOrganisoid · 05/09/2011 11:10

Got up this morning and was ready for school without any rushing or nagging, bet that doesn't last til tomorrow!

Did quite a bit first thing but have now slowed...window cleaner was meant to be coming at 9.30 but hasn't showed. it was raining earlier to be fair but is dry now so a text to let me know one way or the other would be nice (I have to be in when he comes as the only access to the back is through the house). Kitchen floor needs mopping badly but don't want to do it then have him come as will have to redo it after!

Feels weird not having dc around.

JKSLtd · 05/09/2011 12:08

Well done Freak :)
Was ok here today too, everyone ready before they needed to be Shock that won't last.
Bit concerned about timings, DS2's bus is out of my control and can come at a time in the morning that will make me late with DS1, nothing I can do about it really. DS1 is only Y1 so not major if he's late, i just hate being late, get really stressed.

Need to organise this list at some point too.

TO DO:

  • lots of gardening/pruning; some hedge pruning done
  • jetwash the patio & furniture; Done side of house & driveway
  • wash readybed cover DONE & return (prob Fri)
  • TQs from DS1 (only 9 to do as some done back in May)

  • see if any toys can go/be put away

  • check length/take down/shorten front door curtains & store in vacuum bag until winter
  • get kitchen curtains dry cleaned before winter

Morning ladies! Feels like autumn here today - a distinct chill in the air!

We made it out of the house in time for music group at 9.20 this morning, and then I braved a haircut for DS1 in town. We had to wait for 40 minutes, and he was so good bless him.
This afternoon we are going shoe shopping!

Well it's all off with mr hot Sad
Sent me a message this morning saying he was really busy at the moment and felt bad because he felt like he was just using me where he could only pop round every now and then. Said that wasn't what he had wanted but he had realised he wasn't really in a position to be starting a relationship right now.

I'm ok with it I think, had suspected that might be the case and am just pleased he was honest and didn't mess me around or keep me hanging on.

Now just need to crush the wail of "what's wrong with MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?!" that keeps threatening to surface

cikecaka · 07/09/2011 11:23

Awww Freak, I am devestated for you!

DD1 hates secondary school Sad, crying and headaches. Taking her to the doc this afternoon. My heart is broke, really want to keep her at home but sensible me knows that she needs to go to school. Its nearly a replica of DS when he started. AAARRRGGGHHH

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/09/2011 12:10

JKS Shock, such a thing to pass your lips Grin. Have to admit its the 1st thing that made me smile in a few days.
Took DD1 to the GP yest, was only there the day before with DD3 (she was constipated for over a week). Nothing physical wrong with her, so its definately the change to secondary school. Feel like banging my head against a brick wall cause its just like DS all over again! Had to be the hard parent this morning, goes against everything I normally do. Told her to stop crying this morning that people would be looking at her, and that I was to get no phone calls from the school, unless she had collapsed

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 11/09/2011 19:21

Right I must list this week. We've had a brilliant weekend away, but we're away again next weekend and unless I get organised then we are going to be in chaos.

CC - I hope your DD is ok :(

Wasting - how many weeks are you now?

Not only did I book the dentist, I actually went!!! Shock DH cocked up somehow though and booked me in with the private dentist so it cost £60 to have my teeth counted and a couple of xrays. She was fab though and very careful/gently with me so I said i will stick with her just not go very often. I must book in for a clean sometime soon then one tooth is slightly chipped and needs something doing to it but she said i could take my time on both of those until i feel up to it.

DD1 wouldnt go this morning, absolutely hysterical! Went to the school to see could I talk to someone from the school completion programme, noone there so ended up breaking down in front of the principal Blush, One of the girls from the school completion came over at 11.30am and talked to dd1, so they agreed between them that DD1 would go in for the last 2 classes (art), she will go in later tomorrow and can leave at lunch time if she so wishes. Just going to build her up gradually til she feels fit for the full day!

Sorry for the long post! Have nothing done today!!!!
