Our "drawer" is now so obvious (it has become two drawers in fact) that whenever DH asks if I know where bla bla is I only have to take a breath, not even utter a sound, and heads for The Drawer(s).

Re Drawer. It is definately part of our househld too. It has rather grown into a whole cupboard though. I remember a conversation that me and DH had around where to keep carrier bags. I generally stuffed them in a drawer. DH looking for a space for something or other declared that he thought carrier bags should not have 'full drawer status' Grin
Am trying to have a 'day off', whatever that is, today. So resisting urge to list.
Have agood day everyone.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 15/04/2011 09:36

Mini - Grin on ranking of items for 'The Drawer'!

We have a drawer here too in the kitchen, and then DH has the whole garage which is full of god knows what. That Michael McIntyre sketch someone linked to on that thread made me howl with laughter - DH is always so pleased with himself when he has the correct lightbulb/lead/other random item 'in stock'! Grin

I have got the most incredible urge to scrub the whole house which I am trying to ignore as it really doesn't need doing and I'm actually quite tired today.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 15/04/2011 17:37

Well I wasn't planning on a day off, but DS2 has been cluster feeding ALL afternoon so I have got nothing done whatsoever. DS1 is not impressed and tried to push DS2 onto the floor earlier, before pulling my hair so hard that I cried. Hmmm.

It will pass. It will pass. It will pass.

And DH will be here in 20 minutes.

AnonymousBird · 15/04/2011 18:33

Hello ladies and babies/babies about to be...

Oh The Drawer - must look for that Michael McIntyre sketch, no doubt I've seen it cried embarrassingly whilst laughing

We went to see Rio today - DS in particular absolutely loved it. He is musical and there were some great tunes in it, and he was just swaying, grooving and moving in his seat. Very funny and sweet to watch!!!!

OP posts:
SupersonicDave · 15/04/2011 19:50

Ali DD tried to pull DS off my lap and kept biting me, only lasted about 3 or 4 days though. I think they suddenly realise that the baby is going to stay. It will pass Smile

I have an enormous list, but not even sure where to start! I'll finish my wine first Grin

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 15/04/2011 20:54

Yes I have wine, and a vast bar of Dairy Milk Fruit&Nut. DS2 finally stopped being hungry about 45 mins ago which gave me a chance to do bedtime story and cuddles with DS1. He is upstairs with DH now - well out of range of the smell of my milk!!

Anon - we love great british menu here too, pleased that the dreadful Jenny Bond is no longer involved!

Dave - DS1 has been brilliant so far but tbh I've been expecting some 'issues' to crop up! I think the immediate novelty has worn off, but having DS2 here hasn't quite become normality yet. I'm sure it will all settle down Grin

AnonymousBird · 15/04/2011 23:07

Oh god, Ali, yes, be gone Jenni!!!

Was so relieved that she was not thrusting her bosoms at the chefs or doing her overpowering commentary!!!!! Funny that in series one/two she was allowed " on set" with her low cut tops and then they banished her to voice over only and then, oh, grief, gosh, she's gone

Wine all round.

OP posts:
SupersonicDave · 16/04/2011 08:31
