But rather than a one a day baby step, we do a two a day one.

I need to get back on top of things, plus I will be on my own for the first time in over 5 years.

Oh No! Sorry you've all been ill thereis!

Sadly I'm told by a lady in her 60's the broody feeling when you hold a newborn never ever goes away Sad Someone told me once that newborns release certain pheremones that make anyone near enough to be affected want to protect them, no idea if its true, but it wouldn't surprise me! Mother Nature is very clever!

Well I started pulling the stuff out of the cupboard and sure enough mould!

I've cleaned all the things that were in contact with it, at the minute the only casualty has been dps sunhat, but if he jet washes it it wil come out (one way to make him fix the jetwash). Sprayed the cupboard, just need to give it a really good scrub!

My house is an utter pit atm. Cannot get on top! I have no time, and the washing monster seems to have had babies!! Who knows, I might be able to catch up at the weekend! Hmm maybe!

MeMudmagnet · 12/02/2011 09:15

Hi you two. How are both? Any better now, Thereis?

I've lost all motivation with the house Sad
Still just treading water.
Maybe I'm just not the organised type?

I've been having problems getting payment for a couple of jobs I finished before Xmas! I've never had this problem before. I contact the client to tell them "No payment received", they apologise, say they'll get straight on to it, then still nothing! I don't really want to go down the Small Claims Court route Angry Sad

On another note, a friend has just announced she's expecting her third, her second is the same age as dd2. And I don't feel envious at all! Quite the opposite in fact. So I know the baby stage is over for me. I luurve newborns and the newborn baby stage, but I'm very aware that they turn into evil toddlers Wink

Are you still manic KAQ?

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 13/02/2011 00:43

Grin at 'Evil Toddler'. God, they are so blinking unreasonable aren't they? Like little dictators. DS1 has just hit that horible screaming, 'I want a drink/I don't want that drink/I do want that drink stage'.

We've just survived DD2's birthday party today. 30 odd 4s and under plus a couple of 5/6 year olds. It was chaos - but I think they had fun.

Now, who wants some cake? I've got loads...

Yes - much improved, thanks MeMudmagnet. Thankfully it was a 12 hour bug. Horrid for a bit then completely fine by the next morning.

It is horrible about your unpaid invoices. Do you think your client is having financial problems? I hope you get paid soon.

I'll be interested to see if I get broody again - usually happens when the baby is approaching a year. Mind you, it's taken a long time for me to recover phyically this time - I think that really might be a disinsentive.

I have no motivation and the house is truly horrible. I'm definitely treading water - but not really managing, to be honest. I'm hoping it's just because we've been busy with the party and the bug and that 'normal' service will resume soon.

hello!

KickArseQueen · 16/02/2011 22:49

Manic is somewhere behind me Shock I am officially snowed under to the extreme. The washing monster has grown bigger than ever before and I'm now afraid of being eaten, my only recourse has been to keep feeding it with clean washing - but long term thats just going to make matters worse!

I attacked it today. Got it divided and put away the ds's clothes - that was the equivilent of 3 big washloads, still need to put away the girls, ours and the linen, and I'd added 3 washloads to the new heap by the end of the day.

My mobile doesn't stop ringing, txting. Life is mental.................................

Hope u are both ok,

Must sleep...

xx

Well, if you will try to have a life outside your house and cleaning it, what do you expect!??! Grin.

That's it though, isn't it? You can do one, or the other but trying to keep a tidy and clean house and trying to fit other things in just doesn't mix.

I've put one mountain of washing away, but it looks like a bomb's gon eof in a launderette again. How does that happen?

I've been trying to write myself a timetable (like a school one) so that I can achieve chores and I can build in time to do stuff with the kids. I haven't finished it yet, but I've done a few more things than I normally manage to fit in, which is good.

How's the throat, KAQ?

And how are you MeMudmagnet? Are you still there?

KickArseQueen · 23/03/2011 22:00

Found you again!!!! LOL! Grin

Clean Laundry monster is growing as usual!

Dirty washing monster is teeny tiny tho!! YAY!

Kitchen looks half way clean! Shock

I've actually hoovered

And hopefully after tomorrow I will be able to concentrate on getting some things sorted!

Oh! and! Throat is fab! I have a timetable from about 18 months ago, its a fab idea and it did help a bit, but I never ever managed a full day - let alone a week! Must try harder tho!

Back soon!

MeMudmagnet · 21/04/2011 23:30

Hello!
Haven't been on MN for ages, everythings gone mad busy workwise, which is great. And this weather is just too fab to be inside at the pc when I don't need to be.

Are you both still there? And are you doing ok?
