Where do you put wet towels

Where does everyone keep wet towels.
changed the radiator in the bathroom so it’s no longer going to look like Dunelm with 4 massive bath sheets on it.
We don’t have an airing cupboard.

I don’t really want them dumped in bedrooms.
what’s the solution. A rail? A rack? Some hooks?

How often is that possible in the U.K.?

Where I live (in the U.K.) it precipitates on less than 1/3 of the days of the year. So, possible most of the time. We don’t have a tumble dryer and have never had any issues.

I have one of those airers that hook over the radiator in the bedroom for mine, DH puts his on the bathroom towel rail and I’m lucky if DD’s makes it to the washing basket.

I can’t put them in the rubble dryer. They are all the same colour and I don’t want my towel getting mixed up with DH or DSS cos ew.
We had a fancy towel heater type thing which stuck out both sides rather than a traditional ladder shape. I hated the way towels hung so when we redid the room we went for a tall sexy black number. I think the bannister is an option then back in the bathroom once dry.

I am not washing them every use. I’d have the machine on 3 times a day. It’s on normally twice as it is.

Wall mounted towel rail above the radiator and freestanding towel rail in front of it. I don’t like heated towel rails and declined to get one as part of our bathroom renovation.

Why don't you like them?

I love "Rubble dryer". 😂😂

If you ever need an alias.

I have three questions @JuneAlready

  1. how? Mine barely fits a couple of hand towels and face cloths.
  2. do you have the towel rail on all year?
  3. if yes to two, don’t you find it too hot?

I have 3 answers 😊

  1. I bought a large one! I fold them in half lengthwise & they hang pretty much the full length of the HTR (both sides)
  2. No, in the summer it gets warm enough in the bathroom not to need any other heat source!
  3. Yes I would find it far too hot!
oh & I often put them out on the (very convenient) outside line, just because I like them in the fresh air!

Bath towels - space for 3 in our bathroom, one on hook on back of door, one on hook side of radiator towel rack and one on radiator towel rack. Hand towel on radiator towel rack

Rubble dryer sent my brain down a strange, paw patrol themed rabbit hole......

I'd colour code the towels then tumble dry them. Also means it's easy to identify the culprit when they get left on the bathroom floor in a puddle....

Eventually they will damage your door!

Highly unlikely if your door is painted or varnished/lacquered.

Thank you 😁
My ‘towel rails’ are long thin radiators with only two horizontal bars.
I have a slight fear of putting it on anyway because my grandparents used to have a massive heated towel rail that was on 24/7 and was hotter than the sun, I fell on it aged 8 and still have a scar!
