Africa Waterhole Web Cam

My ds1 (8) is doing "Africa" as a topic at school this term (and loving it).

His teacher gave him the address of this website which is a webcam at a waterhole in Botswana. He loves watching it and seeing the animals.

PS Don't check just now though as the cameras are offline and not working for some reason! Check later in the day - after school is a good time.

It was just visible getting up in bottom RH corner, and moving away, apparently - I will be here all agog in the morning! Hope it is OK.

who's controlling the camera tonight, keeps going out of focus! still, I couldn't do any better.

Its very quiet, maybe someone should go running round the bush and wake them all up for our viewing pleasure!

Oh no, we were out most of yesterday and didn't log on last night. Little elephant was lying in the water when we left at about 11 - was he really there all day? What happened to him??

One ele by the waterhole and one lying in the water, but not dead as his trunk appears like a periscope now and then.

Just been onto the blog page about the elephants dying and there seem to be loads of people thinking he's dying/has a fever and worried about him but no definate reply about him
