Great news @madcattersteaparty . Congrats to you and them.

Just echoing the others. DD1 knew just after 7.30 that her C place was confirmed as it was on UCAS. It made for a relaxing trip into school. Best of luck to everyone. Now I'm going to attempt to log onto the exam board website to look at my students' results in the 2 subjects I've taught them. I'm apprehensive!

PettsWoodParadise · 17/08/2023 08:23

DD made it! Good luck to others x

yoyo1234 · 17/08/2023 08:23

DS got in 😀. Good luck everyone today

newyearolder · 17/08/2023 08:30

DD is in!

Karwomannghia · 17/08/2023 08:30

Mine didn’t make it, but he’s fine with it, I kind of knew it was a long shot and was a bit worried about the amount of work required. Always said you’ll get in the right place!

ramonaquimby · 17/08/2023 08:36

DD in too, sweet relief. Good luck for those next steps wherever they lead

DS messaged saying UCAS confirmed his place at Oxford but he doesn't know his catual grades yet. What does this mean?

nowheregirl · 17/08/2023 09:19

DS in too! We found out his STEP results at midnight last night (a fantastic moment!) but we didn't know he'd been accepted til the UCAS email this morning. Such a relief!
Good luck to everyone. They've all worked so hard. I've nothing but admiration for them all whatever the outcome.

goodbyestranger · 17/08/2023 09:26

Rosedozenose presumably he hasn't been into school and his school does in person results as opposed to by email?

If Oxford has confirmed through UCAS then that's that.

DD is off to O. Such relief here! Congrats to all the others with good news this morning.

OxbridgeHopeful · 17/08/2023 10:46

STEP success here too - we all believed DS could do it but that didn't stop us all feeling increasingly anxious about it.

DS thought (or told us) the STEP results weren't released till 9 am today so we hadn't been waiting up for them, interesting if they were actually out at midnight.

Well done to all others- even those with less good news re offers have mostly done well to be honest.

Trylinescore in recent years I've been very surprised by the numbers of MNers on the Oxbridge application threads who share college as well as subject. Not a great idea tbh.

This, we don’t share the college

It seems pretty common on the applicant's thread so if anyone has done that and their DC has been successful they may want to protect the latter's privacy by name changing.

juicy0 · 17/08/2023 21:15

DS is very happy to be in !
