Dashing in to see how everyone is doing, will catch up on all your posts asap- I realise I haven't posted since June! Hope everyone is well, and our ORs are getting excited about moving in to their new lives in September.
DD (like most of the Bath intake) is still waiting for her accommodation allocation, and madly refreshing her email constantly (we are on holiday at the moment and every so often she'll go "oh! So-and-so has had their email!" And off she refreshes again.
Off now to catch up with about 20 pages of posts!
@TangoWhiskyAlphaTango hope you and DD are well! I know you are still waiting on the accommodation too, DD keeps me informed 😂

Oooh, he might be there, and they might meet over a beer and never know who each other's fabulous mammies are! 🤣

@Geamhradh Yes to the refreshing DD is doing it all the time too! She has a busy few weeks now though she went off to Reading festival yesterday then is off to your beautiful country with her Dad the week after so the time will fly by. Hope they hear soon! She is very nervous and excited in equal measures - role on freshers!

Great news on the results @Stockpot , sorry about the accommodation.

DS has been doing some of the washing for me this week and I’ve found his copies of Student Nosh. Would really like the printer to emerge from the wall of boxes we still have but very relieved the file with passport etc has now emerged after the packers walked off with it despite being told not to touch it.

@TangoWhiskyAlphaTango @Geamhradh We are still waiting for accommodation allocation too. Unibathliving posted on instagram that the guaranteed accommodation people should all know by 9th September.

Another Bath newbie here. DC called the Bath accommodation office today and they said they hope to be able to make all offers (including insurance and clearing) by the 9th. We'll wait impatiently !

A boy on one of the groups DD is in threw everyone into panic yesterday as he received a "do you want this accommodation then or what" email- like a final reminder to accept his offer. He'd never received the actual offer though! Cue everyone racing to their spam folder! (Nothing in DD's though! )

Haven't posted in a while but proud to say DS too off to Warwick in a few weeks time. It's been a journey! haven't seen many Warwick posters on here except @threestars 👋.

Bath peeps check your spam folders! DS has just found out that he's been allocated his 2nd choice (Quads) which he's quite happy with. The moving in day fits with the hotel booking I had already made so we'll make a family weekend trip of it.
It's all becoming very real now and we're ready to go shopping!!!

Dd just got Westwood she's well chuffed!!!

DD has just announced that your DD has heard 😂 Mine is still waiting and convinced she's the only one left. We're at the point where she's going back over everything to make sure she filled everything in correctly.

@Shimy Sorry i missed your post - welcome back and congratulations on the Warwick offer, my colleagues daughter is off there too and said how beautiful it was when she visited.

@MillicentFaucet Wow to Quads I think that would have been DD choice if we werent poor 😂Mind you I reckon a lot of kids who put ensuite rooms down will be disappointed.

@Geamhradh Bloody hell DD must have been straight on the group chat then, she only landed in Switzerland an hour ago bless her she is well excited. I am very very relieved she got campus accommodation. I hope she hears soon and I am sure DD will let me know x

Glad to see that some of your DC have Bath accommodation offers.
@Geamhradh only 2/6 of the people we know going to Bath have accommodation allocated so far so your DC is not alone. We are also waiting.
