Oxford aspirants part 5......the wait is over the results are in!!

Thought I would start a new thread as its likely to fill up quick now.

So here we are after many months of applications, assessments and interviews. The wait is finally over for those with DC who have applied to Oxford. Those with Cambridge applicants have another 2 weeks to wait until the 25th Jan (bummer!!)

You have all been a lovely bunch to share this journey with and I wish your dc nothing but the BEST OF LUCK for tomorrow (and the 25th).

Not sure it means much, given there are times on there that aren't even times (!) but TSR has the average time colleges sent out emails on p 349 of the Applicants' thread.

@jan069 not sure I entirely agree - More like swings and roundabouts . From your perspective right now If you get to this stage as an Oxford candidate you stand a much better chance of getting a yes because they only interview 42% of applicants whereas Cambridge interview most - but on the other hand plenty of talented young people were not given the chance to showcase their talent in an interview which they might have done via Cambridge . What is brutal is This offers day for which I wish all your offspring luck. This was me two weeks ago for Oxford and having twins ( one got in and one didn't ) I can empathise with whatever the outcome . Good luck - they have all done so incredibly well to get this far.
