DH did a BSc in Biology, worked as a medical scientist and for the last 4 years as a SAHD

Booboobedoo · 29/09/2006 13:39

Me: BA in English. Didn't know what to do afterwards. Became a Theatrical Agent's Assistant in Soho for a bit (which was deadly), and am now a Childrens' Singing Teacher, which is lovely.

DH studied Film, and is in Film Marketing. Much more of a logical progression really.

(I still can't get the hang of apostrophes even with the bloody degree).

BSc in Geology in Los Angeles, worked as a hydrogeologist in LA for 10 months then went to Africa and became an expedition leader/ driver on trans-africa and trans-asia trips. Rode horses for a living one winter, then became operations manager of same travel company in uk for 3 years, then became a logistician/ project manager/ country manager with Medecins Sans Frontieres (aid org.) and then worked with refugees in Britain for 5 years. Am now a SAHM for the time being and have moved to France so no clue what comes next. Can't wait to find out though. Might move back to LA. Always wanted to be an opera singer and live in Cornwall, but can't sing a bar and can't afford more than a cupboard in Cornwall
