For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

How annoying, Guad.

Blueberries, strawberries, juice, peas, apple, redcurrants, raisins... I can't get 10. I don't know how to do it any more.

FrayedKnot · 11/08/2009 16:25

I would love to live in Suffolk

Trying to be focussed today

Blueberries
Leaves
Cucumber
First of my own cherry toms

FrayedKnot · 11/08/2009 16:26

Guadalupe · 11/08/2009 17:06

A few leaves in a salad including flowers
a few cherries

Lemur - that festival looks great. Weekend tickets are sold out but there are a few day ones left. I might ask dh what he thinks.

I am bored of packing. I am going round in circles. How does one small family accumulate so much shit?

mollyroger · 11/08/2009 17:12

oh my guad! (sorry, I DO love doing that) that little festie looks beautiful.

Guadalupe · 11/08/2009 17:18

It does doesn't it? And imagine the hotdogs there. No 40% meat shit, just free range Gloucester old ridge saddlespot whatever they're called. Tasty.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 11/08/2009 19:11

Why don't you all move to Suffolk and we'll live on a 10/10 commune. Our children will be feral and we'll live off the land

We have thought about going to the festival for a day, it's only 30 minutes away from us.

You must go to the Christmas Farmers Market at Jimmy's it's great and we pick up loads of presents for people. It's normally freezing cold, but you warm yourself up with their delicious hotdogs

banana
blueberries
grapes
cucumber
salad leaves
corn on the cob

mollyroger · 11/08/2009 19:29

er Yay! great! Except my children are already feral. And I am living off the allotment land

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 11/08/2009 19:38

Yes, but we can do it all together. I have very romantic ideas about communes, I am fascinated by them.

What can be done with elder berries Moll?

littlerach · 11/08/2009 19:42

oh I iwll come lemur

Then when I buy my island you can all come and live with me.
TooT's aleady signe dup

Sweetcorn
slald x 2
cucumber
tomatoes
banana cake

mollyroger · 11/08/2009 20:00

ooh you need to make elderberry cordial to take as medicine and ward off coughs, cold and flu.

SuperBunny · 11/08/2009 20:01

I'm all for living on a commune. My DS will fit in well because he is quite wild too. I will keep chickens.

pinkspottywellies · 11/08/2009 20:46

I will be the exercise guru on the commune (and the sticker lady )

Molly! You weren't supposed to cry! You were supposed to smile like this Glad it was ok (((()))) (sorry Guad but at least it's not pointy elbows )

Peas, broccolli, cuc, toms, apple.

Swimming tomorrow!

SuperBunny · 11/08/2009 20:56

Will they be homegrown stickers, Pink?

pinkspottywellies · 11/08/2009 21:07

I would recycle the toilet paper and colour them in myself. Would have to work out how to make them sticky

SuperBunny · 11/08/2009 21:25
Grin
FrayedKnot · 11/08/2009 22:05

DS would love to live ferally in a commune, I know I don;t even have to ask him.

I'll grow giant pumpkins

Not sure if that's useful, but they look good

SuperBunny · 11/08/2009 22:29

And we could have pumpkin porn when we were bored. Good wholesome fun.

Guadalupe · 11/08/2009 23:17

The thought of a commune fills me with horror, unless I could have my own wing, veg patch and a very high fence and join you all round the fire occasionally.

pointydog · 12/08/2009 13:08

Time for a new title?

I just fancy making one up.

Okra Face (re lady gaga) I like.

ABitWrong · 12/08/2009 16:02
