For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ABitWrong · 19/07/2009 20:35

nuther week to go here

SuperBunny · 19/07/2009 20:40

Isn't he meant to poo every day, Pink?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 19/07/2009 20:51

Some bf babies only poo once or twice a week. Although mine have always been very productive in the poo department

I hope dd2 feels better soon Toot.

pinkspottywellies · 19/07/2009 20:52

No! DD pooed every couple of weeks and DS every week or so until recently, then it was every other day and now about twice a day!! Not uncommon apparently with bf babies - very little waste.

TooT just seen your other thread. You ok?

Ooh twice!

((((((((((((TooT))))))))))))

SuperBunny · 19/07/2009 20:58

DS was BF but pooed daily, sometimes several times. In the US, it is one of the signs that they are ok - if they don't poo for more than 4 days, you are meant to check with their pediatrician

TigerFeet · 19/07/2009 20:59

DD was a frequent poo-er iirc. I thought we didn't discuss such things on this thread though

Someone on my AN thread has had her baby . Very early but all well so far thankfully. I really need to get organised.

I am a godmother I ate curry cake vegetables in celebration

Love to all x

SuperBunny · 19/07/2009 21:12

No, no poo talk here. Congrats, TF
