For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I would not curl foetally if I was trying to suppress a laugh.

I would have my legs firmly crossed and squeezing tightly.

I think ours live in the drawers in our divan base now, we have a new bed.

Just ordinary woodfiller, I think, Franny. Lots of it.

I can always ask 'im upstairs for more details if you like.

OsmosisBanana · 15/02/2009 22:34

No no. Not wood filler. If you are in the process of sanding your floor boards already, you use some of the sawdust and mix it with glue. Thus the colours actually match and wotnot. If you are not sanding... well why ever not? Get thee to a toolhirery. Not good for dust situation admittedly.

Tsk. Have I not bored you endlessly with talk of floorboards for weeks?? Surely I now get 'resident floorbore' sticker?

FrayedKnot · 15/02/2009 22:42

Oh yes. I remember the dust now.

Um...laminate sounds great, Franny.

SuperBunny · 16/02/2009 02:24

Am surprisingly pleased it is half term! . I've got the day off (so far), and we are going to get some fishies...

I am going to be very FOCUSSED today,
which given that it is the time of the month when I would munch on shoe leather if we had nothing else in, will present quite a challenge!

sorry for bombarding you with websites Franny but would anything like this help?

till later..

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/02/2009 07:19

I was going to mention filling the gaps in the floorboards. I'm sure there has been a whole thread about a particular product that people swear by. Do a shout out.

lol at not hoovering under the bed.

What fishies are you going to get Atilla?

AtillaTheHoney · 16/02/2009 07:50

Just little gold fish . I said they are for the DC's, but I want them really.

TooTicky · 16/02/2009 08:14

Atilla

TooTicky · 16/02/2009 08:36

I need a source of nice joss sticks to counteract the unpleasantness. Oxfam had some nice onbes but they all disappeared around Christmas. Is not a very joss sticky area this.
Any recommendations for nice ones that don't cause headaches?

TooTicky · 16/02/2009 08:37

And shopping online will be cheaper than a day in Glastonbury

pinkspottywellies · 16/02/2009 08:54

TooTicky · 16/02/2009 09:29

Wombling, have you eaten all that already today?
I'm still in bed!

AtillaTheHoney · 16/02/2009 09:36

I'm focussing Franny but am pleading extenuating circumstances because for some reason I can't eat properly again...but am trying very hard. Not making saliva properly again.

Banana,
juice,
sultanas,
plums.
