For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Franny, if you do go for homeopath, will you let me recommend one?

TooTicky · 15/02/2009 21:36

The boys are BONDING
Sodbedtime. If they are being nice to each other, they can stay up all night!

lol Toot. Mine have been utter shits to each other all day.

Not sure if I'm glad or worried they're of to grandma's tomorrow....

Guadalupe · 15/02/2009 21:38

You would only use fucidin if the excema was infected wouldn't you?

TooTicky · 15/02/2009 21:41

Oh, mine have been half killing each other today, hence my amazement...

Boco · 15/02/2009 21:43

Yes, only if infected. Dds was weepy and not healing, fucidin dried it, adn then it went away.

Franny i wouldn't do homeopathy if you don't actually believe in it. I think you have to believe a bit to make the magic work

Guadalupe · 15/02/2009 21:46

You left your shoes here btw.

Drunken bar brawl with some sailors. You shouldaseen the other guy.

Guadalupe · 15/02/2009 21:58

I use fucidin for impetigo. DD sometimes gets one like a coldsore when she's run down. Sometimes it goes on it's own though.

Our house is very dusty. I used to hoover dd's room and under her bed more frequently than the rest of the house. Not sure if it helped.

Boco · 15/02/2009 21:58

Toot your fellow does telephone homeopathing doesn't he?

TooTicky · 15/02/2009 21:59

Guadalupe · 15/02/2009 22:00

FrayedKnot · 15/02/2009 22:00

It was cold...but invigorating.
