For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

sorry had to go I was being asked if 4/2 is two beats to the bar

do you know this Toot?

I think it must be your blood, or circulation. I was thinking of you this morning and thinking Toot must be chronically drained/exhausted

you need a rest cure, or a sleep cure, or to break a leg very badly so that you can do nothing at all for six weeks

my dh is in the maldives at the moment "working"

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 17:18

what didn't you understand? what's the swearing problem?

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 17:23

Bee is thinking of a time when we got in a list line and called each other cunt and pulled hair, when Pink got so cross she got pregnant and Boco sulked about her incentives. Except she did freaky swearing crossness. I didn't bother, cos I was bottom of the list and too cool for school anyway. I understood what she was saying.

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 17:26

oooh

obviously I was the goon in specs who missed that bit because I was at the front of the class copying from the blackboard

Boco · 03/02/2009 17:26

Maybe the brie made you sluggish?

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 17:27

maybe i were frit

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 17:28

Am going to have tea now.. peace has landed at 11pm

pesky kids

putting the clocks forward again tomorrow

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 17:35

Yeah sluggish and sleepy and just generally slumped over my desk, in huge fuck off sunglasses and non-regulation shoes.

FairLadyRantALot · 03/02/2009 17:35

Tiny, artificial saliva and lemon sticks were always quite well tolerated by the patients...it must be such utter nightmare for you right now.

Avi, lol...at disecting houses...

BBBee, what sort of list was that?

stuffit...oh no at your cooking disaster...
sounds like , erm, quite a song...

Guad, I am sure you could count a 1/4 portion for the lemon in the cake...

oh lol Frayed at your sore rear (I assume?)

Toot, glad your arms are feeling a bit better....

Well, me and the lil ones went out in the snow and had a snowball fight....were going to build a snowman, but it just didn't work, wrong kinda snow, I suppose ,
Well....2 satsumas so far...but will have a massive stirfry, so, that should give me at least 4 pportions...which reminds me....must get Kids pasta from the cooker, lol!

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 17:52

Also stuffit - what do they do in a day there? Also where do they go to school? Also sorry about the oven. Also TELL ME MORE DETAILS of your life.

Guadalupe · 03/02/2009 17:58

Yes, give us exotic. The snow has melted.

mollyroger · 03/02/2009 18:01

I got trashed totally in a snowball fight with my boys. ds1 is incredibly agile at dodging, and for a non-sportychild, fricking good at chucking accurately!

mollyroger · 03/02/2009 18:03

comfort food here today, but mamanged grapes, 2 satsumas and a large salad with baked spud for lunch. Some sort of veg will be served with my pork chops in cream, apples, mustard and mushroom....

SuperBunny · 03/02/2009 18:06

Hello cunty bitches

I want to work in the maldives The song sounds good - what a creative boy you have, stuffit.

Hope everyone is feeling a bit better.

juice

SuperBunny · 03/02/2009 18:07

Why are your clockes changing in February, stuffit?

SuperBunny · 03/02/2009 18:08

I speaketh of ye olde clockes of yore, obviously

BBBee · 03/02/2009 18:08

oh the list was ages ago - like 1985 or something so is consigned to the archieves.

see, see 100 knew what I meant about the list and she has written a fucking book see.

((((((((cunt hugs))))))))

BBBee · 03/02/2009 18:10

guad - the irresponsible grown up thing or whatever i said - i mean you do proper stuff like cook meals and move kitchen doors but in a kind of subvertive fuck off way.

I want to be like that but i am too busy being indecisive and dropping things.

mollyroger · 03/02/2009 18:17

oh I keep dropping things today. But that is because it is full moon next week and i am PMT.

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 18:17

rofl at bbee and boco pulling each others' earrings out

am putting clocks forward to make my children go to bed early

it worked nicely a couple of days ago

100 daytime routine much as you might expect as it's the only way we can give the children some stability

it's an absorbing place, infuriating at times but very absorbing -- but we'd done a lot of travelling here and it was no preparation at all

molly your dinner sounds lipsmacking good

Guadalupe · 03/02/2009 18:18

I am the queen of indecision actually. I even bought a bach flower remedy for indecision and dropped it on the kitchen floor and couldn't decide whether or not to buy a new one.

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 18:18

i think we are doing an in tune thing molly

stuffitllama · 03/02/2009 18:19

is there really a remedy for indecision? how handy

you don't sound very indecisive you sound purposeful

is it a facade

Guadalupe · 03/02/2009 18:21

I am very purposeful once I have decided.

mollyroger · 03/02/2009 18:21

stuffit, at the moment dh and I glued to Masterchef on tv and it does kind of make you raise your game a tad...nowt worse than sitting down to dinner of beans on toast while on tv they are preparing chilli prawns and scallops on a bed of spinach and potato rosti, with a lake of pureed lentil and tomatoes....
