For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 05/02/2009 19:08

Yes, I like the refound focus. But then I'm a stickler for rules

Toot - defo see someone about your hips. It really isn't something you should just put up with. SPD is to do with the hormone relaxin, so it wouldn't surprise me if it is all linked to your cycle.

Us wombyn are ruled by our hormones.

BBBee · 05/02/2009 19:08

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:09

I thought last month was bad but this is crazy! Dreading the night.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 05/02/2009 19:10

There's gonna be a stand-off with Guad and Franny until 11:59. Who will hold their nerve and who will crack and list first?

TigerFeet · 05/02/2009 19:11
BBBee · 05/02/2009 19:15

Boco · 05/02/2009 19:16

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:17

I think it is officially okay, governmentally, but it is a bit inferior. Less zing [technical]

yes tinned fruit's ok
eating black hairy twigs raw from your veg box is infinitely superior though

PollyannaNutjob · 05/02/2009 19:22

so you think you're tough, big guy?

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:24

so, what were your twigs?

PollyannaNutjob · 05/02/2009 19:24

black twigs were apparently scorzonera btw
wtf
