For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Ds2 has a stinking cold. We decided not to have lunch out as he wasn't well this morning and now I might have to see how he is before going out this evening.

It's annoying because dh wouldn't think about not going out but then he does tend to want me when he's ill. Hmm. I really fancy a chilli chicken ramen and eddamme beans.

well...my flapjacks turned out a bit rubbish ...I blame the "Butter" I used...normally I use proper unsalted Butter for Baking...and I had to use some other stuff...anyways...they are not great ...sigh...

I am In Disgrace at school. I threw a small snowball at ds (in the corner fo the playground) but someone dobbed me to teacher as apparently it is Not Allowed and a teacher actually came and told me off

LOL. Hey, pollyanna nutjob - ds1 was a pita about his camera earlier when ds2 and his mate were making a film, is a long story, is boring - there were words, there was tension.

Anywaaay, ds1 just came up and said 'I'm sorry for being an arse earlier' and I said 'Ooh we must tell Franny you said you were an arse, that was her word' and he said 'Who is Franny?' and I said 'Someone who told me to call you an arse' He was

BBBee, I think it could work for a few weeks perhaps but no longer. I might post on that thread later, but for now I have to go and sort out my mushrooms.
