For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I am thinking Totnes Avi.

The airport and no masts is a challenge though. I am going to research Totnes for you now.

ahundredtimes · 04/02/2009 23:36

I ate 456 seeds to make a portion. I had them for lunch, with sherry vinegar on fried eggs. It sounds disgusting. It was bloody lovely. I counted the seeds.

ahundredtimes · 04/02/2009 23:45
  1. Steiner school - it'll be fine, am sure you can come and go and be flexible about the black crayons. Look they've got their own rainbow
  1. Airport - Plymouth. 30 mins away. Here is a picture of it
  1. Environmental issues: they are very HOT on this in Totnes and have regular anti-mast discussions and civil actions
  1. I've even found you a house, in the countryside in a village near Totnes. It costs quite erm, only a bit but look has 13.5 acres.

Don't say I never do anything for you.

ahundredtimes · 04/02/2009 23:49

Look! It's got an eco-friendly funeral directors fgs

it's perfect. there will be more home educators there than you could catch raindrops and measure rainfall and wind direction all week with.

I'm now obsessed with Totnes.

And food. I'm very interested in vegetables too, and fruit.

ahundredtimes · 04/02/2009 23:52

I am educating your ds right up until secondary now. Look at the Sands School and smile.

BBBee · 04/02/2009 23:53

i could buy in with you avi - but i lie about my FV intake.

ahundredtimes · 05/02/2009 00:01

God, I'm excited. Please move to Totnes. I think it answers everything. Also I will come and visit you and wear high heels and say I'm thrilled about your life choices, and smoke a cigarette out the back door when you're not looking and then you can laugh at me after I've gone. [hugs self]
Come back and tell me what you think.
