For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

[coughs] All these were interspersed with things like My Tinny Tonky Train or BBC's Children's Classics.

I cannot enter into this either 100. 3 years ago, when he was 5, ds2's favourite ever song had a chorus which went ''corrupt corrupt from the bottom to the top and they tell me that's the law''

And now I am constantly bombarded with request for Sammy The Salmon (Chemical Bros) because the first few times it was on in the car, I managed to get to volume control in time to disguise the bit which goes ''what the fuck was that? something soemthing like he was on crack''
Then we failed....the next times

ooh lordy, reminds me of this

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 19:04

I feel quite bad about this, I feel disloyal. But I do want to tell you Molly that dd's favourite song at the minute is the Pink 'So What' one with that catchy chorus 'nah nah na na na, I wanna start a fight'

pinkspottywellies · 03/02/2009 19:07

I roffled and lolled at you all talking about me last night

Then realised that you've been talking all day and there's too much to read. Never mind.

Feather, you know you said you can't ever get signal on your phone? If you mean not at all for a while, sometimes if you take out the sim card and wipe it on your sleeve, that makes it work again. It's happened to me before.

We're a run down old bunch considering how much veg we eat Hope people are looking after themselves and feeling better.

Don't know if anyone else confirmed but BBB did do a list once and I was at the bottom with my bacon sandwiches

mollyroger · 03/02/2009 19:11

you one BAD mutha, 100.

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 03/02/2009 19:13

'coping' with me molly!? you make me sound like an unruly toddler!

I love making the bags LR,, and would dearly love to have the time to make a bag custom made to suit each of you.

Sorry about the oven stuffit, perhaps a good job nobody was home.

I am not 'on a list'. I have list

Thank-you for all your lovely concerns. I am a little overwhelmed by how ill it is all making me feel.

Gotta keep swimming though!!

Oh my god Molly, not a full moon Nooooooooooooooooo! that is all I need.

Exploding hormones and not being able to run.

I will implode, oh bum bum bum. I may need tethering to, well anything. Perhaps eating copious amounts of lettuce would help. Doesn't it contain bromide? Someone lock the diet-coke in a cupboard.........

Perky ain't in it!

Boco · 03/02/2009 19:14

dds sing along to 'your sex is on fire' by Kings of Leon, but we've persuaded them that they're singing about burning socks.

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 03/02/2009 19:15

Pink, I did that with my phone....and it worked...!

FairLadyRantALot · 03/02/2009 19:15

franny... lol at your ds2 deciding against babyled weaning....although, my argument has always been that if a baby decides they want to be spoonfed at times, than refusing to do that would go against babyled weaning....although aitch would probably disagree with me, lol...

lol molly, you sound like me...bar the smoking...sometimes I am brill and other days it just isn't happening, lol...

lol 100

I just realisd I am lolling an awful lot, aren't I....

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 19:17

Oh yes dd likes Kaiser Chiefs I Predict a Riot v. much too. She seems to like street fight lyrics. Actually her all time favourite song since about 5 is Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire.

So.

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 03/02/2009 19:18

Love DS's pome 100x, takes after his mom then does he?

Didn't realise Iggies 'Lust for Life' had quite so much swearing on the version I chose the other day! oooops!

Why is doing the 'right thing' so frickin' hard sometimes?

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 19:20

Nah, was stuffit's ds who what wrote the poem. Mine just watches The Simpsons.

TinySparklyWhiteFeather · 03/02/2009 19:20

Oh, don't start talking music. I will never get anything done.

Outcast's HEY-YA...come on...outstanding

No. I have valentines cards to make and an impending deadline.

An' I wanna be a 'bad mutha'. Can I just stay here and be corrupted?

Guadalupe · 03/02/2009 19:24

Feather - why will you need tethering on a full moon? Are you a wolf?

I must admit I always sang 'and then I said fuck bush and fuck this war,' even more loudly than the rest of the song. I did remember to turn it down when another child came to tea though.

DS1 listens to allsorts but dd only really listens to the beatles and that's all disguised to her anyway.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 03/02/2009 19:27

Who is Gnorman?

banana
grapefruit
oj
carrot x2
celery (which was actually tasty)
cucumber
humous
runner beans

The grapefruit and oj I had today really didn't help the sore throat situation, they stung like a bastard. And the grapefruit was shite and was so tart it screwed my arse up.

God I feel shouty today.

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 19:28

Though, DS1 does also have Chopin and Mozart on his i-pod Franny. Honest.

BBBee · 03/02/2009 19:28

well you are all rottne bastards. I have just been looking and I didn't actually write the list - I said somethign to tiger about her having to go down in my list for drinking diet coke and then you all pipe up 'oh where am i on the list am i on it' and i say random things like 'filthy you can go up a place because i like your bangles'

see - it was all a social construction in your minds of outcome and rank. it was never a real actual.

oh looking at the old thread is weird. I am saying exactly the same thing as I am now.

Made me miss people zippi, mrscarrot, filthymindedvixen and boco are all there

ahundredtimes · 03/02/2009 19:30

Zippi. I miss Zippi. I loved Zippi.

Right must go.

My tofu stir fry was very nice with courgette, mushrooms, peppers, spring onions, carrots, seeds and kale but it was oddly unsatisfying.

I might have a cacherel hot choc in a minute with whippy cream.

mollyroger · 03/02/2009 19:33

Must go and read objectionable stories to boys about superheroes wearing giant y-fronts now...

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 03/02/2009 19:36

I SAID 'I feel shouty'

Where are the offers of a cool flannel, a darkened room and a lie down?? huh, huh?

I hate feeling irritated and not really knowing why. I think it's got something to do with feeling a bit ill. I'm shite at being ill.

All the hot chocs I have made at home have never been any good and taste a bit powdery.

FairLadyRantALot · 03/02/2009 19:36

oh yeah...I can add about 4 portions of v to my meager previous count...stirfry veg,yup...

lol at that tart grapefruit and what it did...

Guadalupe · 03/02/2009 19:37

You need chacherel. You melt some in hot water then add milk. It's like grated chocolate so you can sprinkle some on the whipped cream too.
