For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I remember DS biting me and drawing blood and then looking disgusted at me for producing bloody milk

thenewme · 14/12/2008 20:05

My marriage is fantastic.

My husband has stood by me and with me through so much crap and heartache and I know I am hurting him again with this same situation. He knows if I wasn't with him I would (want to) be with this other man and that must be the worst feeling in the world.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 20:07

Has Idris left us?

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 20:07

Oh, newme

thenewme · 14/12/2008 20:09

But I want him as my friend.

I miss him.

He was my first love and everything and it was only because of something I did that I was told to do by a friend that would get me over him that it all ended as unfinished business. and it didn't work anyway.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 20:13

It sounds as though you need some sort of resolution to this, newme. But I don't know what or how.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 14/12/2008 20:17

SB lololol at 'cockathon' at least it isn't just me that lowers the tone!

I haven't had bread and butter for 1 1/2 yrs, since I started mt lifestyle change. I want it NOW!! STAMPS FOOT.

Mmmmm nipple chewing,, winces at m(a)mmories, he - he.

Toot! .

Doing really well on the F&V at the moment and have pretty well given up the Redbull.

DD is OK but still very very poorly and after last night only wants me really. DS keeps making me cups of tea but won't make his Dad one, it is all getting very silly.

And we are all off together for nearly 10 days over christmas . It is likely to be horrible.

So excuse my wanky sense of humour, tis a coping mechanism.

I am so tired I keep reading the thread and immediately forget what I have read so please don't think I am being self absorbed.

Got out for a run which was my worst yet but peaceful and lovely to get some me time.

G'night fruity ones, xxxxx

SmilesLikeNoOther · 14/12/2008 20:19

Sorry for you thenewme....may you find peace in your situation somehow..

thenewme · 14/12/2008 20:22

I never thought it possible to want 2 men at once.

When I was younger and had other boyfriends I would often see this one on the side but it never felt like I was being unfaithful as it was always with the same boy.

I ate some
carrots
sprouts
peas and
parsnips today but no fruit

thenewme · 14/12/2008 20:26

off now, dh has run me a bath.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 20:34

Smiles. There was more I could say about cockathons but I decided against it thereby lowering the tone marginally less than I oculd have.

Enjoy your baths and early nighs, bitches

FrayedKnot · 14/12/2008 20:35

Hello lovelies

So sorry to hear about all the poorly DC's. I hope everyone has a better night tonight.

Thenewme, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Things often seem maginifed at this time of year, I think, too, don;t they?

Sometimes the break in normal routine and the pressure to feel jolly and festive can seem terribly daunting and difficult when you are feeling sad on the inside.

Don;t be too hard on yourself.

SmilesLikeNoOther · 14/12/2008 21:46

Intrigued now SB....

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 21:47

blimey you lot chat don't you? Off MN for the weekend and your hundred posts on a new thread before I turn round!

sorry for poorly DCs, hoping you are having better nights, particularly in the Mou and Boco households...

I can drive, but don't much cos live in city and car doesn't work and I never liked the Smiths although I tried lots because it was cool - can I stay in the yurt??/

Christmas tree up but that's about it. I wrap in newspaper that DS scribbles on and we put ribbon round and I write person's name on outside in marker, so no tags at all. Hmm, that's sounds horrid, but it's not so bad

thenewme, what's up?

spinach, broccoli, sweetcorn, peas, pear, orange juice, potato Ch**se, kiwi fruit, grapes and blueberres oh and acai berries [smug]

SmilesLikeNoOther · 14/12/2008 21:58

Daiseeeeeeyyyyyy! Just signing off, deliriously tired but always good to catch up with you..., xxx

If I don't sleep tonight I may well wake up with three heads and be VERY grumpy.

Does anybody do really good massages? I think I would purr right now.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 22:00

Well, I can't say anything now, can I, smiles?!

I'm all for newspaper wrapping, Daisy. My parents used to throw all the paper on the fire but they'd buy really expensive stuff and I'd want to scream, "STOPPPP, You may as well through money on the fire"

I've been for a run, had another banana and some grapes.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 22:00

oh, whoops, had missed a page, sorry thenewme, I see what is up

umm, I think you perhaps need to split the unfinished business side from the proper active relationship with DH, but not sure how,

anyone in the yurt or have you all left for the first time in 48 hours?

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 22:01

Smiles, when I get back on my feet, I may train as a massage therapist.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 22:04

ooo, love the idea of a massage, but that might sound a bit,,,,, odd!

I have no gaydar FMV so at your DS - it just never occurs to me to wonder what anyone might get up to iyswim!

Full Moon full schmoon! Makes no difference to me at all that I can ever tell - still feeling knackered!

FrayedKnot · 14/12/2008 22:08

FrayedKnot · 14/12/2008 22:10
