For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

It's good bread, smothered with butter.

My thumbnail has broken but straight down the middle so I can't file it or cut it. I am not sure how I did it. It keeps catching on things. I am meant to be sorting out DS's stocking but I am too lazy to get up

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 18:49

Green cord coat sounds lovely

pinkspottywellies · 14/12/2008 18:58

3 on the potty today (Lol at fish TooT!)

3 on the floor/sofa also but hey ho!!

And she appears to have stopped pooing.

Anyway - you don't all want to hear about it. Maybe I should go and join a potty training thread

thenewme, are you married/with dp? I guess that's maybe why having someone on your mind is not ok? You can talk about anything you need to on here (see above!) and we will give you dietcokeandharibo chammomile tea and grapes and maybe the odd furtive hug!

Guadalupe · 14/12/2008 18:59

SB - I am rather too fond of bread and butter atm, trouble is I like the butter thicker than the bread.

I am def going to the brown paper thing then, I hadn't thought of stamping it as well. Actually I did buy some christmas stamps from the charity shop but ds2 peeled the shape bit off the foam so not a lot of use now really. I have made labels from cards before but I'd forgotten about. MIL used to cut hers up with crinkly scissors, that looks really nice.

I bought wrapping paper for the toddler group party presents and have enough left to last probably the next 2 years! I ought to start tonight actually or I'll end up being up til midnight on Fri!

DH is now off work for 3 weeks [tight smile]

thenewme · 14/12/2008 19:03

I am married, very happily.

Had a blip a few years ago (same man but all in my head, no contact from him) but now DH not happy at all that we have emailed and I am a complete cow as I want said man as a friend (nearly put in my life then).

littlerach · 14/12/2008 19:04

Link to what Fran?

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 19:08

The fish does sounds good, pink. I'm not surprised Toot is envious. I think 50/50 isn't bad going on the potty, is it?

Guad, the butter was thicker than the bread! But the bread was hot so the butter melted and dripped everywhere. Might have to get more.

Franny, that is an impressive list. In the absence of F&V to eat, I am thinking about it. Does that count? (Mangoes, spinach, mushrooms, freshly picked strawberries, blueberries, raspberries [6])

Thenewme, sounds very complicated. Have you talked with LostatSea? She seems to be in a similar situation. I wish I could help.

thenewme · 14/12/2008 19:09

No, not seen that name before.

pinkspottywellies · 14/12/2008 19:17

SB do you scrabble? I've sent you the chilli recipe too. The fish are very pretty

Lilrach, link to the jacket [ontheballforonce emoticon]

FrannyandZooey · 14/12/2008 19:19

the coat rach!

thenewme sorry to hear of troubles
i will give my default advice which is that i believe generally feelings for someone else are symptom of problems in your own marriage - deal with those first - relationship counselling etc
btw i know this is glib

It's amazing how much toothless biting can hurt though.

pinkspottywellies · 14/12/2008 19:55

Oh yes forgot about that SB.

Ouch at the biting
