For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

ooh congrats franny

will it be a baby made entirely of fruit and veg, with raisins for eyes and little carrot legs?

I have had half an apple and some raisins

I have made a fresh tomato sauce this morning but I guess that doesn't count if it's still in the slow cooker

I am SO EXCITED and PLEASED for you. I have grinned and gurned all over your thread.

God this is exciting, isn't it? I think it is. A 10/10 baby. It's perfect. You are perfect. The whole things is impossibly thrilling.

More gurning. I am also oddly jealous, but in a nice way. I love it when people have babies. I love the fact you're going to have another baby.

MrScarRot · 29/10/2007 10:20

Oooooohhhh

This is impossibly exciting - I feel like I'm going to be an Aunt or something. I was convinced you were at least trying when you talked about an only child. Both mine are 4/5 year gaps and it's great. Hooray!

Oh, congrats to your dp too

That is FANTASTIC news Franny It is just the perfect thing to happen.

ahundredtimes · 29/10/2007 10:25

Yes, yes and what else will happen? And what will we do? And will everything be felted and sustainable? Isn't it exciting. Let's devise a pregnancy diet. Can we? I want to be an Aunt too, I'm going to invest a lot in this. I'm going to well . . bounce about a bit and hold MrsC's hand and grin at her.

lionheart · 29/10/2007 10:28

There is a Tigger effect with new babies. Tiggerific.

TooTicky · 29/10/2007 10:30

Can I bounce with you?

TooTicky · 29/10/2007 10:33

Well I will bounce anyway.
Bouncy bouncy bouncy.
