Not good new regarding Peter

I am sobbing as i type this.

Peter is very ill. there is some damage to his brain, there is a real possibility he wont recover completly this time. The peter I married appears to have gone. Sometimes he comes back, its very distressing.

Hospital team are having a meeting on thursdasy to discuss emergency transplant list. He may be suspended for a few weeks, but as yet we dont know.

I have been told he may not get through transplant as he is very very ill. but for now we need to try and stay positive. Its very hard.

I havent told the children, i cant.

I want a happy ending, but its so far out of reach.

Thinking of you all and really hoping for that happy ending xxx

I was thinking about you this morning - one of the lead stories at the Timesonline is about automatic organ donation with an opt-out rather than the current opt-in situation.

So so sad to hear this - have always been amazed at your tenacity and strength when I read your posts.

www, i am reluctant to ask for practical help after the last time, so for now i will get by on a prayer.

i have a holiday for the girls on friday, everyone is insisting i go. hopefully i can do it cheaply.

I'm another who's never posted, but I've been following your threads about Peter. My thoughts and best wishes are with you and your girls.
