I am sobbing as i type this.

Peter is very ill. there is some damage to his brain, there is a real possibility he wont recover completly this time. The peter I married appears to have gone. Sometimes he comes back, its very distressing.

Hospital team are having a meeting on thursdasy to discuss emergency transplant list. He may be suspended for a few weeks, but as yet we dont know.

I have been told he may not get through transplant as he is very very ill. but for now we need to try and stay positive. Its very hard.

I havent told the children, i cant.

I want a happy ending, but its so far out of reach.

There is a 'better news' thread somewhere.

Will go find it.

You and your family are in my thoughts. There is nothing to say is there except wait! Hope the girls have a nice holiday.

That video on her blog has set me off crying - so moving! And only 81 people need a new heart - it doesn't sound that much too me - clearly it is because there needs to be 81 healthy people die and be willing to donate their hearts.
