Not good new regarding Peter

I am sobbing as i type this.

Peter is very ill. there is some damage to his brain, there is a real possibility he wont recover completly this time. The peter I married appears to have gone. Sometimes he comes back, its very distressing.

Hospital team are having a meeting on thursdasy to discuss emergency transplant list. He may be suspended for a few weeks, but as yet we dont know.

I have been told he may not get through transplant as he is very very ill. but for now we need to try and stay positive. Its very hard.

I havent told the children, i cant.

I want a happy ending, but its so far out of reach.

misdee - you do what you see fit to do with the money you are given. if people think their money is better spent in more general charitable ways, then let them send it to the charity of their choice.

if people choose to send money to you its because they want you to have one less thing to worry about in this time of personal stress and difficulty...

and if you want to give it to the hospital, then do so, but if you want to spend it on your girls and not worrying about rent and food bills etc for a bit so you can concentrate on the ENORMOUS burden you carry... sparkly...tell her, will ya??

Misdee I'm so sorry to hear this. I don't know what to say. I'm grieving myself right now so have more of a sense of that pit of your stomach feeling than normal so I mean it when I say I sympathise.

I hope things will take a positive turn I really do.

Miadee i am so sorry to read that the situation has got so serious but glad that peter is in the best possible place that he could be.

I am too far away to offer any practicl help, but i will be thinking of you all and hoping at the very least that peter will be put on the emergency list . x
