I am sobbing as i type this.

Peter is very ill. there is some damage to his brain, there is a real possibility he wont recover completly this time. The peter I married appears to have gone. Sometimes he comes back, its very distressing.

Hospital team are having a meeting on thursdasy to discuss emergency transplant list. He may be suspended for a few weeks, but as yet we dont know.

I have been told he may not get through transplant as he is very very ill. but for now we need to try and stay positive. Its very hard.

I havent told the children, i cant.

I want a happy ending, but its so far out of reach.

hi again.

my little terrors are all in bed and surprsingly all asleep

pter had an echo done today, but was on small screen and unclear, so it needs to be redone tomorrow in the clinic.

things dont seem as bleak now, the situation hasnt changed, and i know things may get worse before they get better, but for now, seeing the care being taken over him, and how attentive the hospital is being, i know he is in safe hands.

he had some neurological tests done earlier, some weakness in his right arm is apparent.

I just cant get my head round the fact he has had to go downhill and quickly for them to consider putting him on urgent list. i am worried about the future, and how we will cope as a family. if peter does remain the same with regards to his brain, then he is going to need a lot more care than before. he is scaringly dangerous as he cant remember what medication he has taken and when. he is insistant he has only been there one night. each day we go over and over what day it is, then he says he has only been there one night. he has threatened to pull his tubes out, says it will bump him up the list, even though he has been told a few times that he is being considered for urgent placing on the list. i am hoping they dont suspend him first, as he needs a heart and quickly.
