Essbee's DS in hospital.

You may or may not have spottedfrom another thread that Essbee's DS is in hospital with kawasaki disease. He still has a high temperature, is very tearful but being quite brave. His lips are still too sore to drink/talkbut they're trying to do without the IV drip so he's trying to take sips although even a straw is painful.

Should anyone fancy sending him something to cheer him up, (and having quizzed essbee) apparently the new version of "Shoot Out" cards is out now and he got quite into it last season - was gutted when the cards finished IIRC.

hmmm. maybe more of the dreaded yu-gi-oh stuff then . I was thinking of getting him a yu-gi-oh cartoon manga book (don't worry, I shall leaf through first to make sure there's nothing hideously inappropriate in there!)

VeniVidiVickiQV · 15/10/2006 13:56

Oh bugger

I didnt realise he had got much worse...Please pass on my best wishes to essbee Soupy....x

SoupDragon · 15/10/2006 15:34

His temperature is slightly down ATM. Although it's done that before - let's hope it stays down and continues back down to normal.

Soupy, I don't know if you received my email, or replied as my internet has been down over some of the weekend and I don't seem to be receiving emails. (Either that or nobody loves me anymore). Am on phone now waiting in Q to try to get it sorted. Could you just confirm if you sent to or received an email from me?

SoupDragon · 16/10/2006 14:05

Aero · 16/10/2006 14:20

Thanks Soupy - have just received it now (along with 45 other emails) after waiting for 25 minutes for Telewest to answer!! All fixed now though. Thanks for that.

suedonim · 16/10/2006 14:32

Oh no, poor Essbee's ds, that sounds horrible for all concerned. Please pass on my best wishes next time you're in touch, Soupie. Sorry I can't send anything else - we don't have a functioning postal service here in the tropics, let alone cards to send.
